Is it just me or is a lot of Lain fanart really bad compared to the game and anime art? I find they miss the detail in the pupils because it's pretty important in the context of the game and anime
If you play the game Touko mentions the stare in here eyes a lot so its kind of important

I've asked myself the same question though. The answer I came up with is that we have to keep living, no matter how painful, in order to preserve Lain's memory. If she isn't remembered, it's as though she never existed.

Umbrellas are interesting symbology. Yes, they provide shelter of the rain, but I don't think that's necessarily their most notable trait.
