Hi. First time posting on /adv/. I am looking for the most secure and private web browser for Windows 10. Trying to up my general information security game.
Lots of different suggestions from around the web, and I can't tell which root to go.
Not going to use Google Chrome.

Vivaldi. Uses the Chrome engine but it's by the old Opera team. It's what all the users of old Opera are migrating to.
I mean if you really care about that shit you can always use Tor. I don't see why you would care that much though.

Why not Chrome?
It's fast, flexibe and comfy/easy to use.

You keep saying security. Wtf do you mean by that? Any of the usual browsers these days are pretty up to date and patched fast in case of exploits.

Any browser seriously. For the things you listed there is practically no difference. More important is keeping your system up to date. Your browser doesn't matter nearly as much as having your java and flash updated, for example.

Then use tor. It'll be slow but it'll block google from tracking you. It basically , instead of connecting you to your website, will bounce your website connect request to several different random computers around the world and finally your request will connect. But google will think the request came from someone in Azerbaijan or something
