The man I have feelings for is emotionally unavailable. This is both of your first times:
The absolutely MOST important thing is that you're BOTH comfortable. If she's busy freaking out about getting pregnant, that's not going to happen.
Birth Control also has some pretty annoying side-effects. My girlfriend hated condoms so when we started dating, after some research she decided to get an Implant (Which for all intents and purposes, is exactly the same as the Pill except you don't have to take it everyday. She felt especially jaded about the pill because she's first hand how fussy those can be--she herself was conceived because her mother got sick one day while on the Pill).
The first 6 months were absolute hell for her.

I do have a second concern with that, and it's regarding attachment styles.
I've realized I have an anxious attachment style. I've read several times it is not uncommon for people with this style to get attached to people with dismissive or avoidant styles, mostly because both types are perceived as stronger by the anxious person. So I just started college this year. I have an autistic little brother who has really bad communication problems. He is 4, going on 5 and still is just barely starting to form words right now.
