Every post "bumps" a thread to the first page.
Each board (and the threads therein) has a "bump limit."
After X number of posts per thread, the thread will no longer be "bumped."
After Y number of posts the thread 404's.
Recreating the thread starts the process all over.
Each new thread on /aco/ has to have 5 image posts to not be deleted.
"Sage" allows you to post to a thread without bumping it. Or at least it did. I don't know if it does anything anymore.

I have a basic flowchart of how the game would play.
Fairy Fuck
Start game with:
Basic Enclosure
Free First Fairy coupon
Players can pick a fairy from a list of selections (Randomly Genned? Prefab list?)
Fairies have two key stats: Libido and Volume.
Libido determined how fast a fairy gets in the mood.
Volume determines how much Dust (Currency) is produced when they cum.
There is a set cooldown time before a fairy’s lust starts to build again.
First time, the fairy will pleasure itself for a small amount of dust, which the player spends on...
Upgrade items:
Volume upgrade(Food, potion)
Libido Upgrade(Food, Potion)
Both cheap, and both slowly increase the stats.
Natural Enclosure (Increases lust and volume by 1.1x)
Finally the player is encouraged to buy a second fairy, see above. They can also buy sex toys. The fairies might also engage in Lesbian sex.
Dildo(Limit 1) (Applies a 1.2 volume multiplier)
Sybian (Limit 1) (Applies a 1.5x volume multiplier, but has a longer cooldown)
Now for a third fairy, but, uh-oh, there aren’t enough sex toys to go around. Get a fourth fairy and unlock…
Super Sexy items:
Futanari Upgrade: Turns a Fairy into a Futanari. If they sex a non-futanari Fairy, both have a 1.5x multiplier on the dust produced.
Bimbofication Upgrade: Most expensive item in the game by far. Fairy fills out into a sexy body and is always at maximum lust, ready to go again immediately after cooldown, and with a 1.5x volume multiplier.
Player can now buy a fifth fairy, as well.

It sounds like your problem is you go in with no real game plan and get overwhelmed at the possibilities. Spend time toying with RPGMaker a bit to get a feel for it, and then once you're aware of its limitations you can begin.
Since you seem to have trouble focusing, I'd suggest creating a general outline of what you want your story to be and all the points it'll connect, while it seems fairly obvious it does help people stay on track. Then stick to that outline while you're working. Deviations are fine but be sure you're not going on a tangent. IE making some neat sidequests you didn't initially plan for is fine, but don't spend seven days coding in an ocarina.
Also do what the other anon said, start with something small. You aren't going to make a sprawling porn epic as your first game.

Make a document and mechanically break down each of the game mechanics in your game. Then, do the same for the characters in your game and their personalities, motives, and so forth. This is what works for me at least, but having all of this organized in a document and laid out explicitly allows you to put restraints on what you WILL and WON'T have in your game, so you can actually move forward without being overwhelmed like you're talking about.
Then, as far as actually putting all this into action, you'll either need a team of people (Tumblr is full of skilled artists/programmers, seriously, it is) or you'll need to go it alone, if you want, but in either situation you'll need to look at your list of things you want in your game and segment them out into periods of time. Such as "In July, I'm going to get in the core physics for the game's engine, sketches of the protagonist and the other MCs, and a bit of backstory on the universe the game takes place in". Small steps add up to something big.

Now if it's RPG maker you want to use, always start with VX Ace. MV is much better but lacks an encrypted file so unless you want people having the full source of your game, use RPG Maker VX Ace.
Of course there's always Renpy but unless you want to get real advanced, a VN will do no good.
I'd be willing to help you on your game if you do decide to go through with it.

Real Estate Agency: great little entertainer.

Before the last patch there was a way to get around the time limits: by clicking very fast, you could keep doing actions even after the days got to 0. Now that this got fixed, I think there's no way left to do everything in a single play.

Harem Collect has a lot of content, and updates regularly. For some reason people ignore it on this board, and it doesn't get much shilling because the creator doesn't get 4chan.

DOs:
1. Lots of costume choices, looks customizations and possibly different reactions of NPCs to different costumes.
2. Moral degradation with a choice and not because of retarded reasons (see DON'Ts)
3. Big locations are nice but make sure they aren't empty and NPCs aren't mutes.
DON'Ts:
1.Too long intros/long scenes with no pauses - those are just fucking annoying especially when you want to reload and make a different choice.
2. Too big boobs. I'm so fucking sick and tired of gigantic baloons in every western RPGMaker game. At this point I would even preffer flat like a board chests.
3. Naive as fuck female protagonists. If you make moral degradation make it progressing slowly following some common sense. Not married woman giving a Handjob/Blowjob to a stranger for the most retarded reason imaginable (Sarah's Life I'm looking at you)
4.Interracial cuck. I get it, Americans are being brainwashed with this shit but lately it's been pushed everywhere even western RPGMaker games. And to me if feels like someone is trying to force scat fetish on me.
