I got lucky and found a seeder on the first episode of DMF so I was able to watch it. While the new protagonists seem nice and I loved seeing MARs and Callings three years later, I have some mixed feelings about the sheer necessity of keeping it in the same continuity since I thought Aurora Dream wrapped up perfectly. I'll avoid passing judgment until I can watch the whole thingin a million years after the last cour gets subbed and someone creates a batchthough.

Subaru is only regularly interested in Yume, partly due to the coincidences that keep bringing them together. But it was the movie that got Nozomu aiming for her. When you put a boy and girl together in parts like that, and even have them marry, the time they spend together practicing can easily turn into something more. It's really good, enough similarities with Aikatsu that everything that made Aikatsu so good is still there, with enough differences to make it feel fresh. If I were to compare it to Aikatsu seasons I'd say its better than 2-4 but still has a long way to go to be as good as 1, though there's plenty of time left for that to change.

So there I am catching up on new anime, and this character walks in speaking really quietly. I figure she'll just be voiced by someone I don't recognize.
