What even IS Yuya right now? Right now, I feel like they have essentially put him on autopilot as a character ever since he got Smile World, all he ever talks about is EGAO and YUZUUUUU. And this isn't a meme or joke, this is actually what the show has done. Now, Yuma at the very least you could say was a dumbas. He had his agenda in the story. His relationship with Astral was the one actual legit thing in the series.
