Actually if you bulk order (especially used sets) you can save a ton. Several sets that I have ordered (after shipping prices) were about $3-4 per volume. Even new individual volumes usually come out to about $8-10 per volume, as compared to being about $12 to buy the English localized versions. You just need to buy in bulk - and I mean bulk. I typically will only order if my total is ~$200.
Oh, and the shipping from Amazon is very fast. I live in a rural area in the US and generally get my books within 3 days.

It came in shrinkwrap and all, but the outer plastic cover looks kind of scuffed-up for lack of a better word, but only if you really look at it. The real issue is that it looks like it was dropped at some point in time onto something hard, as the top edge is bit depressed at one part, and there's a small spot on the back cover that's also pushed in, extending through the dust cover into the actual hard cover.
First real artbook I've gotten, so not sure if it's expected that there are some slight defects, and if it's worth returning over.
