Can we have one last AKB0048 thread before it gets forgotten over time?
It was so magical
> My based AKBros are still alive
I hope 0048 gets some momentum with Macross Detla airing. It deserves it.
Allgirls are best girls, but without a doubt, Grumbly is above the others.
If anything, It's what Macross wishes it would be. With idols.
It does have greens suffering. What do you think.
they said they'd come and see us, but it was a lie all along ;_;
I can't find it, someone post the "cute idols doing cute things"
sufferinggif from episode...2?
This is the only gif I have for some reason.
Closer to Macross than anything, except with the primary focus being the idol stuff this time, and the sci-fi being secondary. I could never get into im@s or LL, but I loved this.
Actually I think 0048 would get more traction now with Delta because inevitably everybody will be telling people "Well if you think this is weird, just watch AKB"
>Worth a watch?
>Is it like all the pripara, aikatsu stuff, or closer ot love live. im@as?
It's not like any of those. Not even fucking close. If anything the closest to any of those I would say it's closest to is Im@s Xenoglossia but not shit
Swimsuit Bubblegum is a miracle of the universe. As is Sonata.
I can't watch the final song with Kono Namido wo Kimi ni Sasagu without crying.
I don't know if it's going to be forgotten so easily. It has the AKB48 group name attached to it and executed idol anime in a completely fresh way. It received a little renewed discussion after the Delta preview aired too.
Another season would have been nice instead of that short lived mobage thing they did. How did it sell anyways?
I also creamed myself with Pioneer
Also, why are Micsabers such a brilliant idea?
Don't forget their rifles, the AK48s.
S2 was complete fucking garbage but S1 was fucking glorious.
I miss Mayu though.
S2 had Yuuko going completely Supernova. For that scene alone it was freaking good. The first few episodes were pushing it with the elections, but the second half was even better than S1's.
The elections were awesome, and set up so much conflict with only Chieri and Mimori making it. Her Promotion was also amazing. The way the story was written fluidly as the series went on I think led to a lot of fluid developments.
Delta will have shitty love polygons and as such, forced drama.
No such shit in 0048. When love was involved, it was fairly well executed since it deserved the characters and their motivations.
This is all an elaborate ruse right?
PEOPLE ON THIS BOARD DON'T SERIOUSLY THING AKB0048 IS GOOD, RIGHT?
Oops, I was too excited.
You may be right. I think I'll like that arc better when marathoning it. Time to rewatch the whole series while waiting for Macross Delta.
0048 was fairly well liked by /a/ while it aired.
Must have been a bad year for anime then.
>Next Stage was 2 years ago
God damn, I miss that season. Also what happened to the girls that played the characters? I think one or two quit to become seiyuus but I haven't heard anything since then.
You have to be retarded to watch an anime called AKB0048 and not think it'll be related to the real AKB48. But you know what? The references for the real wotas were subtle and interspersed, and you didn't need to know anything going in to enjoy it. Each of those scenes in the image you linked was the result of two cours of buildup, and by the time you reach it you should be so invested that each has a huge emotional payoff. Watching it live had even more richness because information was released weekly and real events affected some things in the anime.
>too much shilling
Was the original point. I'm saying that's wrong. Besides the plot saying the original idols were like gods and wanting to inherit their names, what else possibly made him feel that way?
Yeah, those were actually great moments. Be it for the characters, the story or the action.
You'd know if you actually watched it.
>You'd know if you actually watched it.
I kinda wish it was actually good.
With the shit taste I'm seeing in this thread it wouldn't surprise me.
>it's exempt from being smashed for shitty plot because it's an idol anime!
Love Live S1 blows this tripe out the water. (LL S2 wasn't good).
This anime just wasn't good. It was cozy at best when they were chilling in their house, but other than that: Just No.
Watch out for the NOFUN Police, they're in this thread.
Have you considered that you're the one who just can't appreciate it?
Wow, am I being trolled? Everyone knows that LL1 had one of the worst plots of any anime in the last five years. Honoka forcing half the team to join against their will, not listening to anyone else, making terrible decisions as "leader", sabotaging others trying to better themselves, getting sick like a retard, and then wanting to give up because she felt bad, and that's not even the half of it. Take your yurishit pandering for retards out of this thread.
That just says how bad AKB was if even LL is blowing it out the water.
Maybe I didn't think AKB was the bees knees because I have actually seen more than 300 anime unlike all fans of AKB0048?
>Have you considered that you're the one who just can't appreciate it?
I can appreciate good anime and appreciate anime that isn't for me. AKB is just bad. The plot is shit, I don't care about any of the characters because their setups are boring. Bad premise and even worse shilling of the real AKB.
>Honoka forcing half the team to join against their will, not listening to anyone else, making terrible decisions as "leader", sabotaging others trying to better themselves, getting sick like a retard, and then wanting to give up because she felt bad, and that's not even the half of it.
>all these good plot points of a non-perfect person
>"wah why can't they be perfection like my AKB0048 dolls!"
>You want to give examples of this "shilling"?
Every single time they mention the original AKB and have a nice wank to them.
Says a lot about how bad AKB is when LL blows it clean outta the water.
Guess that makes me the only person on /a/ that enjoyed both LL and 0048 from that season
Get ready, this is how Delta threads will look like.
>shitposted by idiots who don't like it but still feel the need to come to the threads
>shitposted by idiots who will try to defend it but will end up sounding like retards
>I thought you actually meant something by "blowing out of the water" other than "makes my dick hard".
On the contrary AKB0048 was so bad it gave me a massive rage-boner. I didn't pop a top once to LL on the otherhand.
Anyone have AKB version? I'm pretty sure there was one made.
Sonata such a good girl
Are you the kind of retard that will ruin Delta's threads?
Before spring, could you go kindly go back to where you came from? You obviously don't belong on this board.
>Are you the kind of retard that will ruin Delta's threads?
I don't slam shows before they're finished. If they're crap (AKB), they deserve to get slammed and questioned. Watching the fans of crap AKB scamper before criticism is always enjoyable (this thread)
>Before spring, could you go kindly go back to where you came from?
Back to /a/? Sure.
You want to discuss AKB's merits (although if you're the same person you obviously have an issue with seeing people trying to sell you things)? Fine.Takamina and Kanata's story. Set up as simple admiration with a dash of information being withheld from the viewer and the understudies, Kanata wants to become the next Takamina. What she doesn't know is that the original will have to graduate before that happens. This sets up on one side Kanata getting confused why Takamina keeps pushing her away, and on the other a deep sense of guilt that Takamina's the only thing in Kanata's way to succeed. When she gets hurt and Kanata is about to go on for her, she takes out her anger on the unsuspecting Kanata. Her face later in >>135895809 when she hears Kanata's had the fever of succession belays the deep emotional turmoil she's going through. Even considering once to go ahead and graduate before she's stopped, she maintains her position throughout the entire series, leaving an open question of how Kanata will react to being stuck an understudy for years to come. Each step of this plays out in parts over all 24 episodes, and this isn't the only interaction and development with this much depth in the series.
The main issue we are facing in the last year or so is that we have an influx of newfriends that have taken the perceived negativity about everything as "board culture" and are now polluting the board and most every thread.
Really we only have ourselves to blame as it's a case of "pretend to be retarded long enough and actual retards think they belong and will become the majority". /a/ is at an all time low for the 7+ years I've been coming here due to this.
>I've been coming here for 7+ years and this is the year we're at all all-time low!
Like fucking clockwork with these types of posts.
>that basic little subplot between two characters
It was so obvious and forcefed to the viewer that it ended up being boring. It wasn't the worst of the threads in AKB's interactions if by God if that's your standard then Lord have mercy on this show.
Macross Delta makes me want to rewatch this. And it reminds me that I still have the Mouretsu Pirates film to watch.
2012 was a great year for this kind of thing.
There's a very brief bit of het (never amounts to anything) but of course they have to play it super safe with their merchandising of these characters to provide maximum appeal
You're pathetic. You can't even make a simple argument, so you resort to pretending like you can't see anything. If you can't even respond to someone asking you an easy question, how are you going to succeed in defending the things you actually like? For your own sake as a person, I hope this isn't how you treat real life.
There's a little bit of het romance, but that won't amount for more than 5 minutes of screentime in the whole series, and it's actually well done.
Don't bother with this troll. Remember how we didn't care about them when it aired back then? We had high quality threads.
It's more like a prototype of a concept Kawamori wanted to do in Macross. Like how Aquarion was Kawamori's way of trying out 3D mecha before putting it in Macross. If the prototypes are a success, the concepts they tested end up in Macross.
Sorry, I'm done. I just wanted to believe for a moment that he might respond with something intelligent.
So I heard in the last thread that Iwata Karen graduated and that most of the VAs have by now. Other than Shawako (Linda), who else has tried to become a VA after?
Let's hope you're right and Delta is Macross0048
