Hollows only get bounties once they kill Shinigami. And since Rukia got that from Urahara it may have been from him. But most likely it was one of the earlier things. It's stupid that Rukia trusted him in the first place or that she lost against a Hollow, but that was very early Bleach and Kubo wasn't allowed to actually plan a concrete plot and story after the late stages of the SS arc (probably around the Mayuri fight).

If you're referring to his Shrift, it's possibly the strongest of all the Sternritters (besides maybe Miracle, by default). It's explained later that he was the first Sternritter and thus the closest to Yhwach's level.

Bleach 680: The Martyr
28 page chapter, one double page at the end. The BW cover is of Masaki, Ichigo and Isshin and the twins at the beach together.
Yhwach grabs Ichigo by the head and begins draining him. He says that it's a pity that Ichigo never got to realize his full potential. Ichigo goes unconscious and drifts off into darkness.
When he comes to again he is in a dark room, with Masaki standing next to him, faintly shining. He asks her if she really is his mother.
She replies that she's the remaining thoughts and the essence of Masaki that have been within Yhwach since the Auschwahlen. She says Ichigo has fought hard and that he shouldn't blame himself.
She hugs him and Ichigo hugs her back, he's in tears. Continuing she tells him to not blame himself for what happened to her on that rainy night 9 years ago.
She understands that he never forgave himself and the reason why he always fought to protect others and put his life at risk was to atone for that. He was a powerless child and there was little he could've done.
She reminds him that right now he is the only one with the power to stop Yhwach. That now the fate of the entire world is in his hands and only he can save not only his family, but Karakura, the living world, SS and Hueco Mundo.
Then OMZ appears and he tells Ichigo to once again stand up and protect the world. To take up arms and protect what must be protected. Ichigo interjects that his sword is broken and that he can no longer fight.
OMZ shouts back that none of that matters, that he is a quincy, a master of spirits and something like reforging a broken sword is nothing with his power and if he tried, he would succeed.
Ichigo states that he will be going. OMZ fades away as Yhwach is almost done draining Ichigo's quincy powers. Masaki says her farewells. Back in present time Ichigo wakes up and grabs Yhwach's hand.
He squeezes it and holds it in place as he roars. The veins on his face turn white and extend across Yhwach's arm.
