Me and a friend want to go skinwalker hunting and we were wondering what kind of skills, equipment, or people we might need to bring

FMJ rounds, and a maglite. That's about it. Food maybe?
>>
Do you mean actual skinwalkers or fleshgaits?
>>
actual skinwalkers but i guess if we saw bigfoot or someshit to thatd be a win
>>
>>17908754
You need a method to tell if anyone has been replaced.
I suggest a password game. Heroes and villains. When one of you feel a test is needed, he says a character and the reply should be an opposed character in that same franchise. The rule is that one pairing can only be used once, repetition fails the test.
>>
>>17908814
>actual skinwalkers
>who are human beings

So, you guys are serial killers?
>>
nice nice but any methods for not getting split up like im thinking since they move quietly just how quietly can they do it because what if he like silent assassinates one of us even if were like 5ft away
>>
Take a pair of walkie talkies in case you get split up, because there most likely won't be phone reception. Maybe flairs too.
>>
alright now how about group size im thinking no more than 4 people but my friend is saying 6
>>
also can they copy objects to like guns and shit and if so can it work to
>>
theres a screencap with a way to attract them. hopefully someone will post it.
>>
>>17908754
Don't
Its not worth it and you couldn't kill them anyways

friend here, thinking about stating our trip in west texas and goi through west Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, then finish up in Idaho. Bring OP, Myself, indian priest who wants to come, tracker. I also wanted to bring a pair of "pro ghost hunters" but OP said thats too many. Thoughts?
>>
we dont have to kill them i shouldve said documented not hunt because if we could prove 100% to the public they exist or atleast figure a bit more about them itd be a win

Oh, well that makes more sense then.
In that case, they'll probably kill you for trying to expose them.
Not even joking, if you seriously go try this, and come anywhere near succeeding, you guys will probably get shipped home in boxes.
>>
>>17908754
https://archive.4plebs.org/x/thread/16344478/
>>
so do you guys think we would 100% die if we tryed to expose them vs going for the personal experience or just 100% fucked anyways
>>
>>17908913
If it's just for personal experience, they'll fuck with you real hard, but unless you catch them in a really bad mood, it's unlikely they'd kill you.
Witch doctors want to be left alone to do witch doctor stuff, so don't expect them to be real friendly.
>>
Alright here is how you do it

It's best to go alone. But if you have to go in a group, be sure to split up and search alone. Skinwalkers hate groups and avoid them.

Always walk in open areas

Do not bring electronics such as flash lights or walkie talkies and so on. Skinwalkers hate the electrical fields and bright lights these divises can give off.

Wear as little clothing as possible (tank tops, shorts) and wear bright colors. Try to wear heavy boots or even flip flops (they love the noise they make and may increase the chance of an encounter)

Be sure to really work up a sweat or build up a musk. That way you're uh... Gonna blend in with the nature...

DO NOT BRING WEAPONS, we... Uh they hate the idea of challengers in their territory. When you encounter one, be sure to wistle and walk towards it slowly with your hands up.

Dont worry, we are... I mean they are friendly people who only want to give you blessings. But they are a secret! Shh! So dont attempt to run or yell if we come across you. And your life will be rich and happy!
>>
is there a possible way to make peace with them or even have a conversation and separate question would they be able to detect hidden go pros
>>
>>17908927
>we
>>
>>17908928
Depends on the individual witch doctors.
Maybe you'll get lucky and find one that's bored or something.
Yes, they'll know if you're trying to ruse them.
>>
>>17908928
>>17908864

do you really believe this shit? this is a real question
>>
>>17908864
This IS a skin Walker

What you people are doing is damaging a native American man's claimed territory, and fucking with it.

The guide posted involved walking into this things home, which it loves, and then leaving behind shit that confuses it, and then tries to take the shit down.

Last but not least you leave behind a dead fucking small animal, while these guys have an fetish like obsession with protecting their end of the woods. You are asking for it to defend it's territory: against you.

I feel bad for using the term "it" because these things are NATIVE AMERICAN PEOPLE who are scared of losing their woods.

Monsters and ghosts aren't real, you fucking assholes
>>
i wanna say yes, i want to say no, this is the reson me and friend want to go because as dumb as it sounds we find entertainment and pure interest in the stories some sound to hollywood for me some sound genuine and now its come down to i really want to know because ive been getting really creepy vibes from these stories unlike any other horros
>>
we dont want to fuck with them we genuinely want to have a conversation or atleast know they are real even if it means never telling a soul because honestly its kinda killing us not knowing the truth and im well aware of the term curiosity killed the cat but if we do decide to do this then we will start another thread here on /x/ and well name it skinwalker bros 2016 or something

>>
>>17909872
As it just so happens, witch doctors have you beat on that front.

Good luck.
>>
>>17908864
Dont bring ghost hunters, theyll fuck up the trip since skinwalkers hate electronics and ghost hunters use them. With them you guys wont find anything
>>
It really depends on the type of skinwalker you're trying to hunt.

native american shapeshifter: Bullets, or saying their name out loud

goat men: Unkillable, but not dangerous. They are a type of boggart so courage will keep them back

Wendigo: You're straight fucked, yo. These guys are fast, strong, near unkillable, don't feel pain, and love the taste of human. Their hearts are made of ice though, if you can light them on fire and melt the heart they will die. And while unadvised, repeated stabbings to the head with a knife may work.

Fleshgait: Allergic to gold dust and hate light, fire can severely hurt them but not kill them. They do not hate light enough to stop mauling you if you point a flashlight at them.

Dogman: i don't fucking know, it sounds similiar to werewolf so try silver and wolfsbane or something
>>
>>17909882
I don't think you followed my joke properly.
>>
just dont man
>>
op is back let the thread continue if its gonna go 24 hours
>>
I would go as a group with armed and have flashlights and walkies, rather not encounter one then getting fucked alone not armed at all.
>>
>>17908878
Follow what's outlined here if you want to waste time and lie in a tent with ya boy all night.
>>
Trust me, you're going to be wasting your time. Any stories you've heard about people killing skinwalkers are fake, not saying skinwalkers are though. A skinwalker will make you tremble so badly that you won't be able to move, or reach for any gun.

For this story i have to start from the beginning.
>I was born in Yatahey new mexico but on my birth certificate it says gallup new mexico because yatahey had no hospitals and could not be considered a birth city
> when i was 4 and winter was oncoming in my home i one day picked up an ace and began trying to chop wood, my grandfather Gave me the navajo name of little man. I went to the medicine man and my grandparents were told that i would be greeted by many spirits with welcomings and blessings but to also keep watch over me closely for the anasazi(ancient tribe before us that was into black magic like stuff) would become kealous and bad spirits would come too

>used to own cattle until on of my grandfathers got drunk and sold them all
>it was almost winter and the water for the sheep would sometimes freeze so wed break the ice and watch thw sheep drink
>we heard thst we needed yucca(plant thats out in the vast nothing that we use to eat and also for shampoo as well as medicinal purposes
>grab the corn pollen leather pouch to take with us
>you see when we take yucca we dig up the plant and cut the stem underground that is thick and take about the size of a potato.
>afterwards we take the corn pollen and apply it to the cut portion and re attach the rest of the plant which will heal it and continue to grow

>my cousin points out some footprints that were almost next to the sheep
>we see like womans heels, and some other prints of a barefoot man with it
>puzzled we follow the tracks
>we notice the tracks start spreading out farther like they were sprinting
>but the barefoot tracks stayed the same distance away from eachothet
>this is where shit hit the fan
>the prints started to get smaller like the guys foot was shrinking
>we continue following and soon the prints get wider but continue to shorten in length
>soon enough after the tracks stop we realize the womans prints faded out into nothing and all the prints that were left was like a cougar paw and they too faded out about 15 feet away

Relaizing that it wasnt a man we ran back to the truck and drove straight home, we tell my grandfather and the others and they all look really really upset,
They tell us to go to the hogan(a hut that is made up of mud and wood used for about anything, especially ceremonies.
Me and my cousin kyle are both given a blessing and sage is burnt as well as pic related on the right is the red dirt of the hogan(considered safe keeping, the ash on the left for bringing good health and the corn pollen on top) after our blessing we walk out of the hogan and notice that dinners ready so we eat and my cousins friends were wanting us to go to tohatchi with them to go see the bull ridings

Oh and one more thing, if yoy really are truly looking for a skinwalker, tohatchi new mexico is where our resveration sees him most, to the right of the highway is all of my families property, if they wonder who you are twll them that a member of the Allison family sent you, twll them little man told you. And whatever you do do not keep anything "cool" arrowheads and broken pottery especially by our houses and on the big hill, its not navajo, its anasazi, and everytime someone picks up or touches the aritfacts has really bad dreams and paranoia or gets sick. The broken pottery is mainly grey with black lines

In our little community for our family we knew rhe anasazi used to have a settlement in the area but we were building a hogan and as we were digging we found a slab(inb4 courage the cowardly dog return the slab) with markings on it come to find out after we cleaned the dirt off of it it was a map of the area and where things were such as their fire pit and burial sites, the thing is that we have built a house right at the bottom kf this hill, and were lucky we built it there because on the map the hill was a burial site, we never ever go on the hill. And where we put the warehouse ia where the firepit was, how we know is that when we built the warehouse we dug down about 10 feet and start seeing this black almost like coal line that is in the ground.

The wau that the navajo people learned how to weave is from spider rock where the navajo people used to live inside the rock, there was a woman who had been there long before us who was called spider woman, for her weaving skills and for the fact that she could maneuver very efficiently in the rocks. She taught the navajo people how to weave and not using dyesto dye wool like many other tribes, but instead to boil it and acheive the color, its complex, my great grandmother did it that way and in really hard to do. The rock to this day is known as spider rock and is really sacred because its the origins of where we learned to weave and be known for such talent

My cousin kyle and some of his friends take the truck to the bull ridings, its awesome and if you have the chance to watch it, do it.
We finish watching the bull rides and we tske his friends home who are our neighbors but live 2 miles away so we drive them home, after saying yatahey(hello) to their parents they give us fry bread(REAL fry bread and not the shit at state fairs) say thanks and continue home, its starting to get cold, the windows frost up a littlw but not too much. We turn down the dirt road past the natural gas plant thats super small, and drive past about to reach home, we see a man wearing moccasins and some pelt and looks distressed, we take the teuck offroad to follow him uphill,(the hill nobody goes on because its the anasazis sacred ground) and we stop just before we hit the top, and we park and jump out and go up to the top like 5 feet away and look over and see nothing but a coyote running away, no sign of the man, the top of this hill is flat, theres no way he dissapeared we were right on him.

OP is retarded for saying that's too many. You ideally want around 8 or 10.

This is as close as anyone will ever come to catching one...he was the coyote. .they don't want to be caught or seen...they don't want to eat your brains or flesh...they are shaman or medicine men.they want to be with the spirits not some pimple popping white kid and his buddies hunting wendigo or skinwalkers. ..it's not your culture to be messing around with...you won't come close to seeing one or catching one ..unless they want you to

thanks in advanced friend.
