I don't know which ones are good yet, since I've only been interested enough to buy books, for about a year now. But here are some of the books i found pretty helpful.

All about how the Smith was actually seen as a high priest in many cultures, since it was firmly believed that metalurgy was given to humanity by superior beings ei. gods, demigods or ayy lmaos
>Alchemy - Marie-Louise von Franz
Wanna learn about alchemic symbolism? This book. Pretty boring though.
>Initiation into Hermetics - Franz Bardon
Fuck, this one is just awesome! And it's pretty much a must-have! Read this one first!
>The Evil Eye - Frederick Thomas Elworthy
Old book written in 1895, reprinted in 2004. Pretty much just a collection of folklore regarding the eye. Pretty funny.
>The Key of Solomon the King (Clavica Salomonis)
This one is just awesome to have. How to do magic from a rather biblical perspective. Demons, angels and whatnot. Also pretty funny.
