What are some good found footage horror movies to watch? It feels i've seen all them. Lake Mungo and the Poughkeepsie Tapes were really good ones that caught my eye but it seems like i've just trudged through a lot. Any recommendations would be helpful.

Just watched Lake Mungo and I couldn't fucking stand it. A bunch on nonsense and the music was way too fucking loud and couldn't hear the dialog half the time, kept having to fuck with the damn volume.
Willow Creek is highly recommended. Great fucking atmosphere.

Here's my reviews and a synopsis:

>Synopsis: A priest and a child psychologist record home movies with their freaky kids.
Very predictable, and the adults all seem pretty stupid. Don't spend money on it, while I don't regret watching it, I wouldn't watch it again.

>Synopsis: A college film student crew goes out to try and find a bear poacher, he doesn't hunt bears.
A++ in both realistic found footage and in quality. Has a bit of Bro Science in it, and some of the CGI is kinda fake looking, but is otherwise very good. The one caveat I would mention is that it is not really a horror movie. Would recommend, would watch again, would buy if I ever actually watched DVD/Blu-Rays.

Pretty good movie. The reveal is pretty Bro Science if you are put off by that sort of thing, but otherwise it's pretty solid. Some good spoops, reasonably immersive. Might buy, would watch again.

A+++ . No jump scares or anything like that, but very atmospheric throughout. An extremely realistic scifi, besides the central premise (Why send a manned crew to Europa instead of just drones???). Quiet for a lot of it, and most of the horror is psychological. A cross between psychological horror and science thriller. Very good. Would recommend, have watched multiple times, would buy.

>Synopsis: Man answers ad for freelance cameraman out in the middle of nowhere, makes a labyrinth of bad decisions.
It's kinda bland for the most of it, and if you're the sort of person who hells at idiots in horror movies, you'll be yelling a lot in this one. The main character is a huge idiot and absolutely cannot read the mood. He makes one good decision in the entire movie. Wouldn't watch again.

I love the genre and I think I've seen 99% of all found footage films. It would be 100% but I still have Southbound to watch, maybe tonight or tomorrow. I know that sounds obnoxious but no matter how much searching I do it's always "seen it, seen it, seen it."
There have been some good suggestions here, as well as some horrible. Not all my suggestions are horror.

but I can't stress enough how fucking fantastic this is, it stands out above all other found footage films for me.
Close second would be the V/H/S trilogy. It gets a lot of hate for some reason but I really enjoyed them for the most part. Segments to watch out for would be A Ride in the Park, Safe Haven, Dante the Great and Parallel Monsters.
