I don't know 100% for the rest of them, but Saw isn't a horror movie. There is nothing paranormal in that movie... It's just some asshole with cancer fucking with people before he dies. It's really more of a mystery or some obscure fiction category.

It was mentioned in the previous thread....
... I saw it, and I have to say it has one of the most disturbing scenes in the history of horror.
The scene is pretty much a jump scare, but it happens so late in the movie that you're pretty sure this isn't a 'jump scarey' type of movie... Then it hits you. The image you see is pretty ugly/disturbing too. I think this scare rivals to the Ring's legendary 'saw her face' scare.
