Someone should upload videos of themselves reading greentext stories. That would be badass. I would do it but I don't have a good setup and I don't have editing skills to make a video for it other than a black screen.

Greentext stories sound retarded out loud 90% of the time

Yeah but I mean change it so it makes more sense. Add words to make it a normal story but keep the idea the same.

Heres something I just asked my mom shes babysitting my niece rn, I asked her if she's ever seen something out of the ordinary, she's 60 shes no great liar either, she described the goat man from the OP, said she saw it walking in the open when she was in socal, way back when it stood two feet above the crowd and she was sure everyone around her noticed it but were pretending not to. She said she assumed it was a woman because the long hands that stuck out of the coat were very slender, but she described long fingers and palms.

>>
Any one have the pasta of the guy telling a story of when he was a kid visiting his wierd backwoods family. And basically they were so far away from town that when ever a family member died they were too far from town and had to bury the body on the edge of the property. So he looks out the window one night and sees this fucked up thing digging up the body of one of his little cousins and dragging it away...

>finish up and get up to feed my cat and piss before I sleep
>cat's name is just cat, sometimes I call her shit like Felonius, Catarax, Kitty Pryde, etc
that's not important, I'm just a little drunk.
>get out some meow mix and freshen up her water bowl, put in some cold chicken from dinner
>realize she didn't come running when she heard her bowl clink down
>hear this thumping against the glass window
>thefuck.png
>it's my cute ass cat sitting on the windowsill
>she's freaking the FUCK out at something
>yowling like a crazed bitch, her tail is slapping madly against the window
>can't see shit, decide to try and calm her down
>"it's okay baby bear, come eat your chow"
>look out the window now that I'm up close
>see this massive fucking shape in the woods behind my house
>it basically flits up a tree

Not a greentext story, but not all the stories here are greentext, so fuck it. I typed all this out beforehand so people wouldn't possibly get antsy over reading it all at once.

When I was younger, I was in that weird science-fiction phase where I thought aliens were cool and wouldn't it be awesome if UFO's were real? One of my chores that I had to do was take the garbage out to the curb on the two nights before garbage day, and one of my favorite things to do would be to stargaze. This sort of thing was kind of rough to do, since I lived in the middle of a growing town and the light pollution made it difficult to see everything that I wanted to see. Sometimes I'd even yell up at the sky, to see if the aliens could hear me. Yeah, I was a dumb fuckin' kid.

Anyway, one night, when I was 12 and had moved past my UFO/sci-fi/alien phase, I went to take the trash out. It was a night like any other night before it, the air was hot and humid (because I live in Florida, of course), but I realized I hadn't stargazed post-trash takeout in a long time. So I turned my head to the sky, but I couldn't really see any stars, as it was a full moon and by this point light pollution was in full swing. Feeling nostalgic, I remember I yelled up at the sky to see if the aliens could hear me, and I regretted it the instant I yelled it. I felt this absolute feeling of dread, and that weird feeling that I was being watched. If you've ever had a dream where you were terrified of something and you felt like every step you took was extremely heavy and you couldn't escape, that's exactly what I felt, but I only remembered that feeling from dreams. This was like in real life, and probably even more terrifying, 'cause if you didn't escape the monster there was no waking up.
>>
I tried to take a step forward and barely managed it, and I remember falling forward onto my hands since I lost my balance, since my legs just wouldn't respond properly. I remember managing to push myself back to a stand, and when I looked up again there was this bright flash of light from out of nowhere, blinding me because my eyes were adjusted to the lack of light, and I felt this sensation like I was being moved.

I remember that I felt like there was the passing of time, but my eyes couldn't adjust to the darkness. My legs still couldn't work, but I didn't feel like my feet were on solid concrete anymore. It's a difficult feeling to describe, like standing up while falling, but not actually falling, while still not actually being in contact with solid ground, but not exactly floating. It felt like an absence and a combination of all of things, and I have never felt a thing even remotely close to that in my life, and still haven't.

Not long after that I heard my mother call for me, and the moment she did, my eyesight returned to me, I felt my feet back on the ground again, and my legs moved fine on their own. My mom was super pissed off at me, telling me that she'd be yelling for me for an hour, that I should've been in bed, usual parent-to-kid stuff. I remember happily, and willingly, going to bed after that. Even my mom thought that was weird, 'cause I was seguing into a kind of rebellious phase at the time.
>>
>>17791873
>>17791869
Forgot to link these two together. Also, I lied, I only typed the first few posts out. I'll get the rest out here ASAP.

I never told my mom, dad, or even my sister about that night. The only person I told that whole situation to was a guy I met out of high school at one of my first jobs who claimed to be a UFO enthusiast, and he insists that I was abducted, and that one day they'd come back for me. I didn't really think of it particularly seriously, but I realized that he was technically right, because that wasn't the only time in my life that had happened to me.

When I was about fourteen, I joined the Boy Scouts and got up to Second-class. The first year of Boy Scouts, we went out to Sand Hill Scout Reservation, basically a huge plot of land set aside for scouts to do scout stuff. Basically, it was a big excuse to make us eat shitty breakfast foods from out of a carton/box, and make us earn lots of badges in a short amount of time. Real stupid stuff in the grand scheme of things, but I loved it, 'cause by that point I'd forgotten all about the incident a handful of years before.

My first year there was fairly uneventful, but my second year was when it happened again. I had just split up with some scouts from another troop to head back to my own camp, but we apparently picked the short straw when drawing lots because my camp was all the way in the back of all the other camp grounds. I was walking through the woods, and there was a huge clearing before another cusp of woods where our campground was, and I remember in spite of it being dark at the time (with no moon in the sky), I couldn't see a single light. Which was strange, because every night had plenty of campfires, lanterns, all kinds of light sources lighting up every campsite, and they only put them out when it was really late, and the sun had just gone down, so I knew I had plenty of time to make it back to camp before getting bitched at by the scoutmaster.

The pic is relevant. It's the map from Sand Hill's website and it doesn't seem to have changed a whole lot from when I went.

Anyway, I had this really awful feeling of dread, and I got struck by this horrible sense of deja vu, like I'd felt that feeling before, and it almost immediately hit me, and I remembered specifically that event a few years before. I tried to run and this time I got about five or six steps before my legs locked up and I fell face first into the dirt. I remember that it didn't even really feel that painful, but that might have just been because I was terrified. No-one was likely to find me out there because everyone else from my troop had gone back to camp and I was the last one out there like a complete schmuck. No-one would have headed out in my direction for any real reason.

I remember I managed to get to a stand, just like last time, but this time I heard brush shaking in the treeline not particularly far away, opposite side of the closest campground, which was a ways away anyway and doubtful they'd have heard me. I remember I tried to move away from it, but moving was impossible. There wasn't a bright flash this time, but I felt that weird sensation of being lifted again, and I was vaguely aware of the passage of time. Out in Sand Hill, it was basically pitch black dark, EXTREMELY minimal light pollution, and if you wandered at night away from the paved roads you only really had campfires from the campsites to tell you where you needed to be going. As I said before, it was nothing but pitch black, but I had my eyes open the whole time trying to spot something, anything.
>>
>>17791919
Blah. I should have mentioned that the red dot in the picture was where I guess I was coming off the access road. We were at campsite 12, circled in the picture, and the arrow is roughly the direction I traveled in. Also, I was sticking to a walking trail, since I didn't want to accidentally step on a snake, god forbid, which is why it seems a little odd that I didn't just beeline for my campsite.

Next thing I know the sun's coming up, I haven't moved an inch from where I remember stopping, and I don't feel tired at all. Shaken, scared, wondering what happened to the past several hours, definitely, but I wasn't tired like I would have been if I had missed a full night's sleep. It was the most refreshed I can remember feeling in my life. The worst part was knowing that there was a significant chunk of my night, from sunset to sunrise, that I would never get back or know what happened to it.

When I got back to camp, understandably, my scoutmaster bitched me out, since they'd sent people to look for me, even walked down the trail I was on, but didn't see hide nor hair of me. They had most of the higher up people from every troop there that week, and a lot of the staff, up all night looking for me, and then to them I just casually wander up in the morning. I had to stay at the campsite and clean up all day, but I had people with me the whole time, which helped to calm my nerves.

So, besides the guy from work, you're all about damn near the only people I've told this to, since I figure this sort of shit is something you read every day, and someone might care to read it. These events are mostly something I try to forget, but there are times when I revisit them against my will, like tonight, and I figure talking about it before bed should help.

Hey /x/ I don't come here often but I've read some screencaps of fictional short stories I've since lost.

One was about a human who committed his fleet to an unwinnable battle to save an alien colony because they had a mutual defense pact.

The subsequent battle was quite enjoyable to read.

One about how humanity got on the intergalactic equivalent of the UN after retro engineering outdated tech sold by a 'thrifty' race not on the council. Then getting in a war of attrition using that tech with the council.
>>
>>17792261
There was one about 2 alien cops interviewing human miners and warning how dangerous they were.

Another about an alien in a bar fight when a human defends him and then comes onto him.

One about a human stopping an alien ship from being torn apart in earths atmosphere by tethering it and slingshotting it out again, tearing his own ship apart in the process. This race comes back to save earth one day to pay the debt and nobody knows what debt they are talking about since humans regularly sacrifice themselves for others.

I had about 10 of them all up, my drive with them on died, but I really enjoyed the stories. So if anyone here knows what I'm on about or where I can find them that'd be great.

Hey, I know I'm late to thisthis thread but I thought that I would deliver some green text that deals with my personal experience with a skin walker.

A little info about my area. Lenni Lenape Indians once occupied the land where my Father lives in South NJ. Apparently, my great grandparents decided it was a great idea to fuck up the land and disrespect it in anyway possible.

My grandmother said there might have been a small burial ground nearby her house (family lived on one street).

My first experience was when I was 12, at my Father's house.

>always outside, climbing trees, crawling through thick grass, and looking for bugs.
>insanely curious child
>figure I would go exploring in the woods that my father told me not to
>idgafanymore.jpg
>while wandering, I come across a coyote carcass
>the neck was bloody and it seemed to be somewhat still living
>I suddenly get a deep pang in my stomach when i hear something move in the qoods
>runforestrun.gif

I get to my father and tell him that there was a dying coyote. He didn't believe me, but followed me because I was so frantic.

We get there and the body is gone. All that is left is a fur outline and some blood.

>completely terrified at this point and make my dad go out of there
>never went back

Fast forward to when I was 16. I had just gotten kicked out of my Mother's house and decided to live with the old man, having forgotten about the instance with the coyote.

The house always had a really bad and creepy vibe, like things were living in there and I was disturbing their space.

Again. I was a fool.

>idgaf.jpg
>go into middle room one night
>see something shaped like an egg
>about the size of a 6 year old
>it was a shadow figure
>ohshit.png
>i knew it was watching me
>i could feel it thinking about what to do with me
>all i could do was run back into my room

And for the record, my Dad's house is really shit tier. He dealt with major depression from the divorce and other mental illnesses.
>>
>>17792952
To be honest, he was a heavy drinker and was never quite right after his time in the military and dealing with my mentally ill, foreign mother.

Anyway.

>start noticing my father's behavior changing
>becoming more perverted and drunk and depressed
>no matter what I do, the old man won't cheer up
>I pass by the room one night and see the figure again
>I was tired of this shit by this point and decided to speak the blood of Jesus Christ

Mind you, I did not believe in God or Jesus, but I figured it wouldn't hurt if it worked.

>the shadow stood up
>ohshitohshit.gif
>I slammed the door shut and ran into my room
>heard scratching along the bedroom wall that was right next to mine
>did not sleep for two days

This is where it gets real.

>decide to drive to convenience store to pick up some food
>look over towards the woods for some reason and saw it
>it was tall, at least 7 or 8 feet tall, and it's eyes bore a hole through me like nothing I could ever explain
>it couldn't go into the street though, for some reason
>i still don't understand it, even to this day
>but it put me in overdrive and read up on preventative measures against demons

You see, I was raised by a woman who was crazy, believed in God, and protected her home from "demons" all the time with blessed salt. She also put some kind of ash in it.
>>
>>17792999
>get some salt from mom and listen to how to put it down and what to say
>put salt along perimeter of house
>salt line infront of door that has shadow creature
>do it to all window sills and my own room and my father's room

Still thought it was bullshit, but I changed my mind quick that night when I went into my father's room because I forgot to salt his window sill.

>look out window and see this face looking in
>it looked kind of animalistic, hut white with red eyes
>I could barely breathe because of fear
>then I watched this things enormous hand lift and press against the window

I will never forget the genuine fear that I felt that night.

>I threw salt in the window and it jumped back into the dark
>Dad and I live in the deep woods with no outside lamp posts, better to stargaze
>run to window
>open and put salt down
>slam it shut and hide in my room
>all night I hear sticks being thrown at my room
>low growls, sounds like raccoons or cats fighting
After that night the activity, seemingly, stopped. Then again, I moved out asap after all the shit I saw and begged my Dad to get out of there.

He still lives there and I still stop by and salt once a year.

>fun day, we had a bonfire going by 8 PM

>it's now 1 AM
>I have a tradition where any company I have go to the lake nearby and lay in the grass to stargaze
>it's always really easy to convince people, as most people are loopy by 1 AM
>the three of us head out
>it's about a ten minute walk from the cabin to the lake, as the gravel road leading there goes uphill.
>As with any outing, I have my replica SS dagger hanging on my belt
>as we're walking, we're trying to convince redditfag that Obongo was a mistake
>rustling innawoods.jpg
>it doesn't sound like anything that big, probably a deer or some shit
>rustling intensifies
>we stop and shine our flashlights at where the sound is coming from
>in the brush, we can see to eyes, really close to the ground
>/b/ guy says it's probably a rabbit.
>we keep walking

>when we get to the lake, we drop to the ground and start stargazing
>I'm the first to find the big dipper, yay.

Well I found something... maybe the area where it happened.

Look around 40°43'29.48"N 115° 4'27.61"W

That road there loops around (but in the opposite direction as drawn in the pic) and ascends to a clearing where it ends. I don't see any ruins but there are piles of gravel a bit lower which might be chat from the old mines.

It's a stretch, but it's the only thing I've found.

Really not as spooky as all the others but thought I'd post it. Happened yesterday.

>getting bus back home
>only like 5 other people on it
>suddenly get really indescribable feeling
>was like I was suddenly aware that everyone on the bus has their own lives and it legit felt like I was watching the bus from a TV screen or something, like I wasn't really there irl
>bus slams breaks and horn on and literally barely missed a speeding car passing by

idk why but the feeling I had just felt like I KNEW something was going to happen. It's extremely hard to discribe.

From pigman? Not after that night, fortunately/unfortunately.

I did have some pretty messed up nightmares in that house, and a weird shared-consciousness experience while I lived there, but nothing more really came of it.

Witnessed an apparition at the house I lived in after that and had my furniture completely rearranged while I was out. After that house, nothing too crazy at all.

I will say this, the Upper Peninsula (like deep up there) can really fuck with you sometimes.

>>
>>17804374
Please describe any sounds it made to the best of your ability, or the tension as it was slamming around the house
>>
>>17804489

The pigman was silent that night while I was out there with it. I remember it being an awfully quiet night while I did my photography, and I never once heard it move or produce its own noise.

The tension was unreal when it slammed into the house's front door. You ever feel the back of your neck go red hot when you get legitimately frightened? Mine was, especially since the door had glass panels in it and I had to turn around to make sure it was locked. I was not prepared to see anything at that moment. Thank god I didn't, I would've had heart failure or something, cause my heart was racing.

As it continued, mostly around my room on the exterior walls, I just felt dread. I've lived a somewhat sheltered and safe life, and coming to the reality that you're not safe made my blood run cold.

As for discovering him in the picture(s) afterwards...ever have your chest spike with sharp pain, your nose tingle like it was burning to sneeze, and your eyes tear up on account of sudden fright or dreadful realization? That's what I felt as I saw what had been terrorizing me.

Seriously, realizing that the boogeyman is real was the worst feeling in the world. I felt stripped of my comfort for the "ridiculous" and easily explained spooky things in life. Yeah, that twig breaking in the woods that you could ignore before? Naw, it's the pigman, watching me.

>>17804744

I showed the picture to the others in my house, but none of them had any stories to add. That just made me feel worse, like I was being targeted for a reason.

I wondered, and I had speculation about where he might live. In that neighborhood was an old shell of a house, and there was a night I got drunk with a few buddies and walked right down the block to it.

Broke in through the cellar and was instilled with fear of god the moment I felt the damp, sour air rush out. Did not go in, and this was waaay before my encounter with him.

I think that might've been his home, but it was torn down that spring.

Keep in mind this in not your typical neighborhood. It was a little cluster of homes on the outskirt of a deep north UP MI town. All the homes are from the mining era of the 1800's. Just saying, this whole story doesn't take place in suburbia, USA.

I will be going back in about a week though.

That's terrifying, it must haunt you constantly

Non taken, I got that a lot when I first posted about it. Honestly surprised I don't see this point made more than the "how could power be out when I see your tv lights on?'. Then again, this doesn't get shared that often at all.

I do prefer to think it was one of my friends fucking with me, makes me feel better about the whole thing.

It makes me feel uneasy, but less so as the years pass by. It feels more and more like an isolated incident, but I still think about him when I camp/night-hike up there.

Like I mentioned earlier, the boogeyman is real, he's just biding his time with me. That's how I feel now.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's just the local nutcase in a pig mask

Maybe I'm a skeptic because I've never seen or heard anything paranormal in my life. And all I see is stories from elsewhere. Takes the reality out for me.

Still. If it was real. I would want to make sausages out of that thing.

>>17804814
I really want to kill pig man and torture it. Simply because it's not human and I could do anything I wanted to it.

Only monsters can beat monsters. I'm getting excited just thinking about putting a knife deep inside that beast
>>

It really could be, I'm not sure if you ever have lived in a deepwoods area, but you get some really strange folks up there.

Personally, I'm a skeptic too, but after living in that area for 6 years I've come to fear the weird small-town exclusiveness that exists there. Kinda like M. Nights "The Village", I could see there being a secret that isn't let outside of the locals.

Dude. Other living creatures still feel pain. Why would you do something like that?

>just like you or me.
>or me
Shut up, skinwalker. I see right through your lies.

It's an aberration. I must kill it and humilate the thing. It's just instinct.

I've hunted and kill my own animals before, skinned them and ate the meat. I love it. It's so predatory.

I am very protective of Humanity and believe we should have dominance in all things.

I know it's edgy. But it's not like I feel this way towards humans. Even as a child I always fantasied about killing monsters.

Killing a Humanoid cryptid would be amazing. You could savour all its emotions as it realised it had met its death at the hands of a Human who wasn't afraid. Make it feel what it made others feel. Like divine justice.

He does have a point. When things go bump in the night. We need people who will bump back
>>
>>17804842
Strange. I've never experienced that. Everywhere in my country is transparent and so idyllic.

Cool I live in flushing, I know what area he's talking about. Not very spooky, just very gooky. Lots of S Koreans and chinks
>>
>>17804842
Pigmanfam, would you ever consider attempt trying to recreate that night? Go back to the house, at night, and take pictures? To find out answers.
>>
>>17804902

Don't get me wrong, the folk around there are very nice and inviting, but there's just an ere of exclusivity to it all.

I guess you just gotta work it out of them, I've got a few stories out of a couple.
>>
>>17804866
We don't kill retarded or deformed babies anymore, so why kill some other freak of nature, especially if humanoid?

Hunting for food is different from hunting for sport. You're not supposed to feel like a predator, you're supposed to feel thankful that whatever you caught died so you can live.

We have dominance over most things, and those we don't, we're working toward, but a little working together never hurt anyone. That's how we got domesticated dogs.

Still sounds kinda cruel to me. If these things are real, they probably only behave the way they do because humans are so shitty them.

>>17804884
Sure, we need protectors, but not people who want to gut things just because they're different.
>>
>>17804924

Yes, but it would be weird because that house is a rental, and I wouldn't want to invade anyone's privacy.

There's also a lot that was out of my control, in terms of recreating the night. If i did it now I would just be taking pictures of some families home at night under the glow of a streetlamp.

I could go through a section of woods nearby...mix it up.

It's the whole fact that if it truly was a cryptid.

You could do anything you wanted it to it and be a hero killing a monster. You could do things to it you can't do to humans for legal reasons and things animals can't emote. It's just feels right. To see things forced to submit to Man. To see tigers caged. Beasts hunted.
Extinct species as testaments to Mankinds power.

I will admit. I am a psycho. And I hunt for the pure pleasure of being able to kill living things.

To kill a cryptid would be like one big fuck you to the paranormal

Just imagine it. The body of a human. And the squeal of a pig as you drive your blade into that mutant freaks guts...heaven
>>
>>17804949
Well, if you admit to being a psycho, I have no reason to argue with you because nothing I say will change your mind.

Just remember, the wolf that wins is the one you feed. I'd advise not feeding that violent, domineering side you have there.

>That's how we got domesticated dogs.
We got domesticated dogs by killing wolves, taking their cubs, raising those who shown themselves friendly and ending those who didn't. Rinse and repeat for thousands of years of inbreeding between these domesticated cubs and thus the canis fidelis was born.
