To be honest, the Irish are beyond doubt the loveliest people on earth, but I've been here a while looking for some paranormal spoopyiness and the scariest encounters are with people in the rural areas.
Ireland is fucking ancient and everywhere you go you're bound to find some isolated patches of earth, literally untouched man for God knows. Dozens of old ruins to wander about and a millions different stories from town to town.
But it was the ideal place for fugitives and criminals back in the day, so you meet some lunatics in those parts. Yeah guns are illegal, but they all have fucking guns, thats why when all us yammer on about "muh bear arms" they basically laugh at us. It is properly scary in some parts, if you wander about just make sure you know wheres where and if you walk onto their land, you are officially at their mercy.
I got a not so crazy one thank fuck. But I cant wait to leave.

My father's side of the family is perilously close to an incest clan. My father's father would hang him from the rafters and beat him with a belt. My father would beat me sore. I was lucky - I got molested by old polacks so my father didnt pay for drugs, but none of them fucked me. The whole clan is unrepentant and uncondemning of my father's sick sins. A cousin of mine is a bounty hunter and well aware of what's going on. This isn't backwoods hick shit, the main family is located in the slums of Maine to the suburbs of New Jersey and have a terrifying mask of normalcy. I finally left my father's home for good andthat night my half brother (the one with 9 kids) texted me "When u r man enough I'll fuck u like I fucked ur mom".

There are other ways of dealing with these situations, though. Even if you have no evidence publicly accusing people of these things usually have dire repurcussions.
I actually have nothing against cousins getting it together, as long as it's consensual, and a friend of mine once convinced me that brother-sister relationships can work too under certain conditions (I don't quite agree with her anymore), but I think that this is the one area where the slippery slope argument works. I was doing stuff in balkans on 2009 and there was this village which was called "the little heads village" and "rat face/head village".
It was rumored to be secluded village which contained persons having serious deformities.

Many people told stories about this epic village but then again most of them were soldiers hence bullshit talking was very likely in most of the cases.
Some said it was only one family.

It was told that the villagers were doing normal stuff but if you tried taking pictures they would go batshit. Like throwing rocks etc.

…And then again the people who took these photos might been laughing and/or making fun of them.
We arrived to this village which was very small rural village with short buildings and muddy clay roads. they had pens for animals but these were mainly empty if i remember. This was during late summer so there were green around village and some houses had tall walls.
At first we didn't see anything and the village seemed even desolated. No cars around.
We saw a girl coming from maybe a college (judging her age) holding books. She seemed like a normal girl. But when we came closer we saw how her movement slowed and her face turned in disgust when she saw about 60 meters/200 feet away this person. She even started holding the books firm.

We drove past him and i fucking confirmed this person having small oddly shaped head. Face was tighter than my definition of normal. There were some teeth when he smiled and in his eyes i saw bright. He seemed enjoying life and he was walking from point A to B while carrying something.
I simply waved to him smiling and he responded with same gestures.
Those were the only people in this village which we saw and the whole village seemed just mind their own business.
Don’t know what was the story but here was my encounter with isolated people living in the wilderness. This individual might have this condition due to many many things. Pollution can fuck people up quite fast as well.

This is about 15 minutes from my hometown. I've been there twice around midnight with friends. It's a hike back into the woods on an overgrown dirt trail by now. I went to school with a girl whose parents were biological siblings. (Half anyway) They were out up for adoption in different states, but both sets of adoptive parents moved to Ohio.
They met, fell in love, had my friend and her brother and when her brother had some kind of illness that might have needed a marrow transplant they all got tested, plus they had a genetic test done to see if there was a chance at having anymore kids with the same illness.
