Reporting on mass Wal-Mart closures;

DOD & DHS documents linked to converting these stores. Massive cache of photos and videos or US military activity, recently a military helicopter landing behind a Walmart in Midland Texas.

There are staging areas behind these Walmart's with military equipment. On flat bed trucks, on tractor trailers setting up behind the buildings.

Massive amounts of army shipping containers are being driven behind the stores.

::Future detention/containment centers::
Meant for civil unrest of all who try to fight back.

The old train tracks that haven't been used for something like forty years have suddenly had a haul on that track that stops in front of that Wal-Mart for a few days. A double fence and barbed wire around the entire perimeter and the same around the roof. Guarded entrance with cameras and two military guards. The Windows are all covered in black and have bars on them.
I worked for this Wal-Mart and was let go with everyone else for "plumbing" with only a couple of hours notice and cops everywhere on our last day.

Much more benign theory here - there's a ton of arms and equipment trickling back into the country after the drawdown in the middle east. >>
>>17605204

Walmart, like any other business, has to stay in the black, not the red. Their closing of over 250 stores is not uncommon. We just got used to seeing them ever 5 miles.

National guard, Active duty, police and other government agencies routinely do exercises in urban areas. Yes, even FEMA and even at walmart.

Think about the recent storms, esp here in SE TX where help was not readily available to citizens. FEMA and other gov. agencies need to set up somewhere and do it quickly to help.

Those humvees are decommissioned. I can tell you, as someone was stationed at multiple Army posts, they are not used by the military now. Civilian police buy humvees from the military all the time, it could be one of those situations. SWAT has use of humvees, LMTV's and a bunch of other vehicles we use. They can buy and use them.

Not sure why you're so "da gov-ment gon get meh!" .

>mass walmart closures

It's an anti union thing. If corporate catches wind that a department within a store intends to unionize, they cut off the limb and close the location within a week to prevent unions from ever gaining a foothold, even if it kills the town.

Furthermore, most Walmart locations (distribution centers and actual stores) are rented, not owned, for this very reason. That's why they hire mainly people on govt assistance - the extra cash spent on renting a space is offset by a workforce that feeds their welfare bucks right back into Walmart, essentially allowing the company to make free money from taxpayers.

No sinister government conspiracy there, just good old fashioned conservative American corporate greed.

I'm pretty sure they are closing old format stores (Wal-Mart) that are within 10km of newer (Walmart Supercenters or the Community Markets) stores, and plan on opening over 200 new stores. The employees of the closing stores are going to given the option to transfer to new or existing stores. There really isn't a conspiracy here. All of this information is googlable. Yeah, you're right. This totally isn't just the fact that shitloads of shopping plazas around the US have clock towers and shit, and large buildings wouldn't be useful for FEMA relief efforts.

I never understood why FEMA gets the conspiracy heat. The CDC actually does have the authority to round up people into quarantine camps, but no one bats an eye at that. Humvees parked outside a Wal-Mart is clearly signs of the US Army conspiring together, it's totally not just some National Guard unit picking up snacks.

>"Sergeant Smith, go over to this local Wal-Mart and talk to the manager, we need his support for our plan to enact martial law."
>"Sure thing, Captain Jones. You want me to dress in civilian clothes and take my Honda Civic?"
>"Nah, take a few Humvees and go there in uniform."

Wal-Mart was founded by an officer in charge of a prison camp. And he kept close ties with many high ranking officials, and received the highest possible civilian award for contributing to the betterment of society and national security.

Plan? Government helps build a massive chain that undercuts the economy by devaluing goods and labor. Throw a Wal-Mart in a small town, once you pull it out... the town is dead.

That's the plan. The middle class is being forced into the cities where they are better controlled and the divide worsens.

The Wal-Mart's then are assets for population control.

>I never understood why FEMA gets the conspiracy heat
Well, it can't really be helped can it. They're a government agency with a healthy budget, yet fucking Waffle House has better logistic sense. They're being allotted a few billion each year, yet they don't always get a good amount of assistance to the people in need.
And instead of improving their capacity to lend assistance during nature disasters to a highly functional, well oiled machine, they are going around prepping LEOs in riot suppression.
Sure, chimpouts are an issue, but the main fucking tenement of FEMA's creation was federal assistance to local government in times of disaster.
It's pretty much would you rather believe a government agency, which you pay out the ass for, is disconnected and corrupt or misanthropic and competent. The latter is just more comforting.

Basically the Walmarts that have all closed did so because an outside business was trying to unionize the workers. They'd get a rather significant finger in the pie of one of the largest corporations on Earth if they could force Walmart store and distribution center employees to start paying union dues.

Additionally new Walmarts are popping up both to replace those that had to be closed, and to open up the newer Neighborhood Market format store which is just grocery/pharmacy and sometimes a gas station. The general idea is to have 3 of the smaller Markets for every 1 Supercenter in an area. That simultaneously increases Walmart coverage without pissing off the local community for opening a shitton of Supercenters.

Our military and law enforcement are some of the most red blooded Americans I can think of (at least outside the big cities), they're not going to be putting anyone in concentration camps for no reason. This may be off topic, but I don't want to start my own thread. It's in the same vein though. I live in a small rural town in southwestern Arizona. There is a chunk of land that is used by the military. I don't know the exact size of it, but I believe it stretches to or near the mexican border. I grew up out here, and seeing military convoys going to, or coming from that land has never been unusual. Things have recently become unusual though. In the past, I would see a small military convoy a few times per week. Humvees, and those trucks that carry people that have a "shell" that is a fabric were not uncommon. Within the last year, activity has increased in both frequency and size. Multiple convoys are coming through on a daily basis. Many different kinds of vehicles too. I've seen ten big rig trucks with loads coming in and out daily. Some other flat bed type of trucks. Trucks that appear to be used for digging or excavating. The weirdest convoys are the unmarked ones. Meaning vehicles that appear civilian. Fancy passenger vans that are white with blacked out windows are very common. One unmarked convoy has me concerned more than the others though. It will be 2 civilian looking pickup trucks, followed by a civilian passenger van with no windows, followed by what appears to be a u haul truck but with no markings, followed by two more civilian looking pickup trucks. They haul ass and maintain 2-3 car lengths between each vehicle. They don't even slow down when they hit the washboard dirt road leading out to the military land. I can see where they are all probably ending up at night, because they have quite a lot of lights on out there at night. I'm not sure what to make of all I've seen. They could just be doing training stuff, but with mountains out there, they could also be making a big ass bunker or something. Anyone with an interest, I'll answer questions to the best of my ability. If anyone even finds this intrigueing.

Not going to read through the entire post to see if this is already mentioned, but here is what I heard about recently. Supposedly FEMA is doing training OPS with local enforcement, preparedness drills, riot control drills, the article that I saw mentioned that they had 50 or something volunteer college students playing the part of an angry mob for the drills.

There have been some strange weather patterns recently, wouldn't put it past the current govt to be using HAARP to create disasters on US soil in order to impose a "state of emergency". I'm sure Texas will be the first target when the SHTF

Top Kek, yea like we are going to die at the outlets
>>
We have had armored vehicles and tanks, as in literal treaded tanks, on the backs of flatbeds coming through my town ever since the Jade Helm stuff.

Our police department finally got pissed off with all the calls, so they pulled one over. Apparently they are all heading East now. The cops let them go of course, but it was weird to see them actually get concerned as well.

Dunno if that matters, but that is what we've had here recently. It's all coming through and heading East.

East of where to where?
>>
>>17624852
Well where I live in Texas, East would be Oklahoma or Louisiana. Like, they can't go east very far without running into one of the two.

They could go south, but our main North to South highway has been clear, while our West to East one has had stuff on it almost daily.

looks like they are planning to ban guns or something. the only real reason anyone would fight the government about anything these days. theres a bill in california that will do just that and they have everyone on a list ready to go. this is why people didnt want to register guns in the first place but you know. Saying I told you so doesnt feel so good.

FEMA is pretty much a shill organization. My dad got a job with them they put him up in a 4 star resort hotel gave him and everyone else attending the certification course 250 dollars a day just for food and payed him like 35k to take this 2 week long course. Had all his neighbors interviewed by the fbi for security clearences. The nex month the country was hit by some of the worst disasters we have seen and FEMA wasnt even called out.

On another note, When they showed up to Katrina after months of hassling the government for aid they set up one housing trailer for the media to show what the housing would look like and only gave out food for one day. Ask anyone that lives there and they will just say, "what FEMA?" Its a taxpayer scam. Another fun fact is the police went around to registered gun owners houses and confescated all the guns they could find during the niggering so people couldnt even defend themselves. its like they were trying to incite some sort of revolt and they even declared martial law.
>>
>>17628791
whut? listen there is a new bill in california that will BAN owning some rifles. meaning that if this passes it will be the first time in history the government will come into your home and take property out of your house. Its like banning classic cars but instead of letting you keep your property they come and tow them away without giving you a penny. This is going to cause some major issues. California cant afford to pay people for these items so they intend on stealing them. You can gauran fucking tee they arent just going to destroy them. most likey they will be sold at auction in other states, I mean its literally billions of dollars in property.

if they literally try to confiscate a gun, kill them, its as simple as that. if it ever gets to that point, thats where you take your stand. whats so complicated about that?
>>
>>17628947
here they are. The wording makes it seem like they just want you to register them as assault weapons but you cant just have an assault rifle. there is a ban on assault weapons already in California. you need special federal permits that are hard to obtain and very expensive to renew. So basically you go in to register them and they confiscate them because you dont have a federal firearm permit for them. The way it works now is they change one or two things on the gun so they cant be considered an assault rifle. the one bill wants to call all guns with removable magazines assault rifles. this is how they do it. they get all the big laws in place then drop the hammer with a seemingly innocent law.
