Can we have a serious, non-meme Erratas discussion? People have been digging up a lot of spooky shit, possibly related to mysticism and the occult, lately. It kills me not to see /x/perts solving all this.
>>

Not your job, not your task, this thread will be terminated by your kind.
>>
What are the occult or mystic connections? I've been marginally interested in this case but this piques my interest.
>>
>>17591492
Someone posted something about a Sator Square (some ancient Latin writing); the lower-right corner spells out "ERA TAS" if you read it a certain way. The square has some magical uses.

A very early clue in the whole thing was also the phrase "Hollywood Astral Projection Clinic".
>>
>>17591506
>Hollywood Astral Projection Clinic
That's an anagram for something. Can't remember what.
>>
>>17591472
What does that image have to do
>>

one of the few ARGs that interest me because it wasnt aggressivly spammed on /x/ and other sites. some anon made a few videos about the information we already got..

>>
>>17591510
Yeah, I remember someone tried to get the word "Haplogroup" from it or something, but that was seriously reaching and felt more like trying to twist facts to fit the whole theory of chicken DNA manipulation. Maybe it really is an acronym, though.

>>17591512
It was discovered early on in the Twitter of the guy who is probably the whistleblower in the whole thing. It's the mugshot of a serial rapist in Hawaii (and might have been a crew member on one of the Jurassic Park movies). Probably unrelated, in my opinion. But it's spooky and distinctive and kind of the mascot of this whole thing.

>>17592930
Basically someone in the dream (I don't think dreams predict the future or any shit, this was just spooky) told me that Erratas wasnt an algorithm or AI but some entity that they dug up in some archeological dig decades ago. Humankind agreed to allow it to essentially decide the course of human civilization from that point on, as a semi omnicient controller, using distributed human knowledge to keep tabs of what everyone was doing.

Basically an alien god appointed as Skynet.

True Hermetic Deep Rock are bands such as Kate Bush, Led Zeppelin, Rush, CMX, Tool, the Smiths and Genesis. You can listen to your Metallica if you want to, but you don't understand anything about true Gurdjieffic Gnostic Rock. You are just a poser and can fuck off the whole scene. Deep Rock is Real music that's not meant for animals like you, but for true Naguals, who don't care about clowns like you. Deep Rock is music for the elite and you don't understand it. None of you understand the True Occult. You ridiculous children. Our worldview is based on ouspenskian gurdjieffism, on a personal level castanedanian mysticism, collective level eliadelan shamanism. Without the understanding of theoretical occultism, it is futile to dream about understanding the gurdjieffian worldview. None of you can understand Gurdjieff, since you are intellectially like earthworms. You can never reach the top level of elitist hermetism, so why even dream about it. Mysticism and Deep Rock are for the elite. For the true naguals.
>>
>>17593249
For what purpose?
>>
>>17594389
Just because exer says it's an ARG doesn't make it an ARG. Not trying to be cheesy but life is full of coincidences. As consumers of media we're very used to stories and will subconsciously fill in blanks to make a "better story" to our minds. You can select any number of facts that fit well together and rattle them off in a certain order and have a compelling narrative.

And obviously ITT we're all leaving out things that AREN'T coincidences, because those aren't spooky, and this is /x/ after all. Exer believes it's an ARG (that's his forte, he analyzes a lot of ARGs) so he's leaving out all the ties to mysticism and real-world events that don't fit in with his view of things, and the video totally doesn't brush up on like 85% of what /x/ has found. He has the right to do so, but it's a shame, since people keep linking to his vids and focusing on the music-related coincidences.

DJ Rozwell. /x/ used to obsess over one of his albums for a couple years because it's cursed and will fuck you up for a few days if you listen to it while you sleep.

So maybe this time whatever weird binaural beats are encoded into the music had too much of an obvious effect and that's why KFC Murder Chicks' music is disappearing, or maybe they quit music or changed names or fired him when they found out what he was up to.
>>
>>17595372
>ties to mysticism and real-world events that don't fit in with his view of things

Am I the only one that finds this creepier?

What if we're actually uncovering something that's 100% fucking real?

Fuck. Every time I come onto stuff about this thing I always feel so weird. I'm honestly even too scared to type it into my keyboard. I don't get like this with other things.

I just get an instant chill up my spine, my eyes start to water up, and I start to shake like crazy and feel like something is watching me.

I think what scares me most is, in my days on /div/, I've figured out I'm an empath. Or at least I'm pretty damn sure. I can't know for sure, because I try to be skeptical. It just makes sense from what I've read. So when I pick up on feelings like this, it terrifies me even more because that means it's possible something isn't right about all of this and I am picking up on it.
>>
>>17596973
This is seriously dark stuff, I don't blame you.
>>
>>17597014
Honestly the original videos are the worst part. I legit cannot watch them without having a panic attack.

There's something terrifyingly dark about all of this and I'm both excited and scared shitless to see what people uncover next. I know I'm too pussy to dig myself.

Godspeed.
>>
>>17597026
Which videos, the Chronos ones?
>>
>>17597040
Yep.

I'm not surprised to see shit's going on with the automated captions. The videos set me off in the worst fucking way.

Even right now I'm getting the feeling I'm describing. What scares me is I don't get like this. Ever. This isn't normal at all.

I've been browsing /x/ since 2007. I should be over this shit. I saw Marble Hornets in it's prime, at least 4 happenings, none of them have spooked me like this. I literally texted a satan number from the remake of the 'I am god' thing.

But videos with old 90's slowed down music about Jurassic Park get me to go into a fucking panic attack. I don't know why and that fact in itself is scary.

Alright, I'm sure somebody's already mentioned this, but it's the only thing that sticks out to me after just taking in all of this information for the first time. Didn't the dinosaurs in Jurassic Park come about through chicken DNA manipulation? Maybe I'm just mixing things up in my mind, but I've seen a lot of those "homunculi" posts recently. Are these two related?
>>
>>17597478
Dinosaurs in Jurassic park came about through DNA manipulation involving frogs. You're misremembering the fact that Jack Horner wants to genetically engineer a 'chickensaurus' because he's a washed up hack.

Does anybody have a good summary of this whole thing in english? I just translated the italian one, and while it's piqued my interest I'd like something to compare/contrast it to.

Okay, so KFC Murder Chicks are supposed to be homeless, right? Or at least one member was. And yet, they list a mailing address. They don't seem to want to answer questions so let's try and compile what we know concretely:

They don't seem to be aware of, or connected to, ChronosForLife, and vice-versa.

One or more members is/was homeless. One of the members might have worked at a warehouse that seems to have *something* to do with Erratas. This could all be the same person as the girl mentioned in that one post, or not at all.

They are almost certainly aware of Erratas, and if we take the above theory into account, they might've found out about it through that warehouse. They might be friends with Tod Ellsworth. It would help us *immensely* to find out who wrote that original post, so we could ask more questions.

Beatrice Moss makes her own music under the name "Greenboots"; she collaborated with DJ Rozwell under this moniker, which is probably how they met and how they got him to produce their first album.

666 Trapslime is probably the solo alias of another member.

This probably doesn't matter, but it doesn't hurt to seek this stuff out.

Stop and think for a second: How the hell do you prove anything at all *isn't* viral marketing for someone else? You can conclusively prove something *is*, but there is just no way to do that in reverse.

I mean, this all happened in real life, if that satisfies you. There are real-life verifiable accounts for everything involved here. There really is an uncaught granny rapist, the sator square is real, KFC Chicks is a real band, corporations really do use math algorithms to fire unneeded employees (anyone who's ever been laid off for downsizing reasons can attest to this), there really is an author named Tod Ellsworth...

Erratas and despair code are linked. Someone posted that meme with the despair code as a joke in the iceberg thread. Someone replied to him asking what it was but didn't get a clear answer. He starts his own thread asking if someone knows what it is, but still no conclusive answer.
Suddenly threads were popping up and being spammed everywhere about the despair code, some were trolling, but some were from the computer it self.

It isn't supposed to be mentioned or known about, and that was kept in mind when it was being created. Suddenly it got tons of attention on this board, but there was no way to silence all of that, unless you distract everyone.

Erratas was waiting for certain conditions to be met. The despair code curiosity turned out to be the perfect opportunity for a smoke screen. People lost interest in the despair code very soon after but threads kept being posted over and over, "what is the despair code" was spammed in unrelated threads for seemingly no reason. It is meant to throw you off, chase after something that isn't really there.

Dude I'm not criticizing it musically... There are people earlier in this thread acting like this is a real band of chicks who play shows and release music and exist in real life. If you listen to it you can tell its actually a piece of computer music made by one guy alone.

People got a problem with me calling it computer music? You kids really expect me to call it "deep Internet post vaping wave step" or some shit?

You're acting like it's not fucking 2016 and "computer music" can't be made by groups of people. The Prodigy was three dudes. Boards of Canada and Daft Punk are both duos.

Furthermore, there are literally millions of bands and music artists. Only a few hundred ever get famous enough to warrant interviews or general recognition. Touring costs a lot of money, and you need to get successful before you can tour - do you think you just magically make six figures out of nowhere by making music? For fuck's sake, people are just now discovering Nigerian and African rock bands from the 1970s who had released dozens of albums but never been heard outside of a couple of villages.

You huys seriously sound like high schoolers who just got into music through radio rock bands and can't wrap your head around non-dadrock.

I really just used Zeppelin as an example, but since you're really fond of tossing out the dad meme, I'll say that there are tons of other modern artists outside the tech/electronic genre that immediately put to rest the idea that the vast majority of techno garbage acts can compete with actual musicians creating actual music.

And if you believe for even a nanosecond that the bulk of KFCMC's best work compares in even the most miniscule way with Zeppelin's worst possible song, you're a contrarian proto-hipster faggot that values being "cool and experimental" over genuine talent.

The NLDW ARG was legit, the Tim & Shim ARG wasn't.
>>
>>17608366
Can you name some of these ARGs ? I'm really curious
>>
>>17608451
The No Love Deep Web ARG was their most famous one. It was HUGE. It involved answering a payphone in New York at 3 AM, scouring the deep web for some weird-ass codes, lots of file decryption, etc etc. The prize at the end wasn't No Love Deep Web itself, but some raw instrumental tracks from another album of theirs called The Money Store, so people could remix it as they pleased. Lots of crazy shit went down for that ARG.

Then there was that whole JENNY DEATH WHEN thing, which wasn't really an ARG per se, but was still a lot of fun. Essentially, they announced a double album called The Powers That B and released the first half of it, called Niggas on the Moon. Then they "broke up" and deleted almost all of their social media accounts. The second half, Jenny Death, was delayed for a REALLY long time, like, almost a year, and in the mean time they kept dropping hints about the album and fucking with their fans in various ways. E.G. they released an instrumental album called Fashion Week while everybody was still waiting for Jenny Death. The songs from Fashion Week were laid out to spell "j-e-n-n-y-d-e-a-t-h-w-h-e-n," which was sort of a /mu/ slogan/meme similar to LEAK IT DEAK. The tracklist for Fashion Week was literally:
Runway J
Runway E
Runway N
Runway N
Runway Y
and so on. Apparently, a Reddit user already submitted a link for Fashion Week to /r/DeathGrips months before, but was immediately downvoted into oblivion because people though it was fake.
They also created a new Twitter account that tweeted about things Death Grips would be doing in the future. At first, people though it was just some guy pretending to be DG to fuck with everybody, but started giving off irrefutable proof. It tweeted "we never broke up. we're going on tour," and sure enough, they announced a bunch of tour dates. It also tweeted a still frame from a DG music video weeks before the video was released. It's basically confirmed to be run by one of the members now.
>>
>>17608485
