There was this documentary I watched years ago I wish I had more details on. I was about some guy in modern times who did a similar thing and built these huge stone pillars, one some island on his own allegedly with no equipment.
Claimed to have invented the process for it but took it to the grave. The whole thing seems very similar to Stonehenge.

There's easier ways to use trees other than pulleys. The simple pivot was used to lift one end of the rock then smaller rocks were placed underneath. This process was repeated until the stone was as the desired height.
Also, Stonehenge fell down and was rebuilt years ago. It never stood the test of time.

stonehenge. its on top of a hill... Put some boards on top of those and you have a elevated platform. Put a wood bucket on top of the wood platform and you have a water tower.
A time traveler (hi) got the Celts to build stonehenge and put a wood platform and bucket on it, and tought them how to run pipes/aquaduct to the villeges. It was abandoned for reasons unknown to me.

There's many ways to do it. It's really not complex at all. It only requires rope and some man power.

Guy said he'd discovered how the pyramids had been built. There were rumours he could make the stones lighter than air and perfectly malleable with some pretty basic devices.
Macchu Picchu and similar jungle mountain palaces/forts made of stone seem like they would need that kind of secret tech, but I dunno. It's not impossible to build on that scale with sheer human effort over time, so I won't rule it out.

I've heard and seen pretty convincing evidence for soundwave manipulation.. It apparently works by corresponding the apparatus's (think huge tuning fork) output frequency to a certain algorithm determined by the object wanting to be moved (the big rock's frequency). I saw a video of someone actually showing it work to hold a 50 lb weight, it was literally levitating... I've seen people use this as an explanation for the pyramids as well.. Basically it would be pretty hefty proof for the ''unified field theory'', which isn't far off from how the ancient's viewed the universe. Sorry I can't find the video, it's just a dude filming in his garage.
