They say that the eye is a window to the soul. I've seen some people make threads about this, some even did reading. Recently, i've been quite interested in this whole face/eye reading.
I have a question for someone who is able to see one's soul through their eyes, how exactly did you learn something like that, can you maybe even provide some sources maybe? Stuff like this is quite interesting for me, I would love to learn more about it.

This is not what I had in mind. I meant finding out something about someone's character by just reading their eyes, and not just feelings you can easily read by just looking at the person, this happens daily.

Please explain how you can "read" people by looking in to their eyes. I feel like you're over-exaggerating
I don't read people's eyes, but I can tell irl if they're good or bad for me without knowing them for long or talking to them. I've always been able to do that, I just think it's good intuition.

There many X factors to consider. For instance, if a person is intoxicated their eyes are usually vacant while their words hold more weight. If something else is on a person's mind during a discusssion you'd have no idea as to what message their eyes could be conveying. You'd have to know specifically that a certain topic is on a person's mind and even in that instance there are people, particularly sociopaths, who can feign emotion well enough to fool even trained experts.
Tolstoy tells a tale of general Kutuzov in War & Peace who on the battlefield would never put much weight into what he was being told - he'd look straight into an officers eyes and body language and dictated orders on what he thought they asked of him. In a situation like that what else could be on a person's mind other than the battle? in such an occurrence reading someone's eyes could be relied upon.

I don't know if it's correct or not, but I can almost immediately tell if someone is a good or bad person within moments of meeting them. Of course very few people that I meet to I get to know intimately enough to be certain as to whether or not I was true.
I think the eyes tell a lot, but so does the rest of the face. I think it's easy to detect fake smiles.
