Once seen a pic posted that describes a guy who used to sell children from orphanages. The guy was a Brazilian surgeon and he would cut their limbs off, and basically desensitized them so they couldn't struggle, talk, or see. Not a cp site, but I remember when I first got on tor, the very first thing everybody navigated to seemed was "The Hidden Wiki" as a gateway to other sites.
There's a "History of cp" article within it and it literally made my guts knot up and my eyes tear up while reading it. Unlike deep web creepypasta meme shit, this article was real and described in sickening, heartrending detail cp videos that exist (stuff you wouldn't find on the clearnet wiki). It was worse than any Chuck Palahniuk book I can think of, especially the bondage and bestiality stuff. CP is literally the worst thing you can do (not counting loli, which I believe is just an outlet for people that feel sexual towards children, it's certainly better than the alternative). It's incredibly selfish to put your own sick sexual fetishes on someone else, let alone an innocent child. You're creating a cycle of sexual abuse that the child will most likely replicate as he grows older. In reality the darknet is composed of countless different platforms and protocols, some of which are outdated, some of which are proprietary or homebrew, and very few of which are compatible with each other.
It's literally impossible to "hack" your way into a LAN, you have to physically be there (in most cases, be physically on company property), and physically plug your computer in to get access. If you're doing an indepth research on a person's criminal record, the best way is probably to physically walk into a law agency, provide your credentials showing that you're a detective involved with a case or something, and request the information you need.
