story for the uninitiated please
>>
>>17479077
Alan Resnick (of Live Forever As You Are Now and Unedited Footage of A Bear fame) produced yet another 15 minute short for Adult Swim that aired at 4am a couple of nights ago. It is bat shit insane and merely a fraction of the entire story as the rest is being told through strange websites, videos and bits of code that we've all been tearing through.

If you haven't seen the short, watch This House Has People In It on YouTube.
>>
>>17479077
It's long and complicated, read the docs, it's basically un TL:DR able
>>17479086
this is as good as it gets
>>
Does anyone else think Lynx disease isn't real? The way the sculptor says "Wash your hands because lynx disease is real" in the video sounds incredibly disingenuous. I think someone else said that it's a cover up from something more supernatural going on. Maybe the stuff with X.
>>
Is it possible that Claridryl causes Lynks?
>>
>>17479106
I think Lynks might be a coverup for some deliberate procedure AB is experimenting on. the symptoms and causes/cures for Lynks are so varied and inconsistent that it doesn't to resemble any sort of traditional illness. Maybe Lynks is some sort of memetic condition where people get it after being exposed to some sort of mental stimulus?
>>
Lynks disease is the way people are going mad looking through various links trying to catch a glimpse of the truth.

It spreads through online communities (families) like a fire.
Madison,

I don't want to embarrass you in front of the rest of the family, but your bathroom breaks are becoming very problematic. Are you checking your phone on the T? We have two new members of our household and that means that we have to be more aware of how we share the space. Using your T time to look at the internet is very unhelpful and also unsanitary. Remember that Lynks disease spreads amongst a family like a fire.
This shits so creepy, especially with those lights in the back. I wonder what type of horror Resnick shows fall under, absurdist horror? There's like this underlying Lovecraftian existential type horror where not much is shown like the girl hitting the mattress which is still a big fucking mystery to me, what happened to her and why was it so intense? idk I guess there's just something scary about implied vague horror then something shown

I dont think its a gag. Everything has had a direct purpose so far. Im assuming it means we need to look at the information we gathered so far before moving on. Theh changed our focus from that site to our info for a reason.

>>
>>17479489
The site gave a 403, so I assume at some point that was to be removed and public access granted. Either there was never suppose to be anything there, the page isn't finished yet and/or he's thrown the doc in as a "Fine, suck on this"

Though as others said, it could be a low-key way to sneak in hints. It seems very ad-hoc for a 403 site though.

AFAIK Boomy has little to no tie-ins with anything sculptor related so far, so I can't see how it'd make sense for B00my to be a password for the fan69 account.

This whole thing seems scattered with a few common threads pulling the subjects and events together though, so maybe it's worth a shot.

Earlier .txt files in the archive on the ABSOL site show Tom (can't remember for sure who else) scorning Madison for finding cigarettes in her possession. She later defends herself in emails too.

Connection somehow? Hope people aren't already on to this and I come off looking like a slow dipshit.

Unless it's going to do something goofy to the printer itself which sounds wholly unreasonable considering the scope of this thing, no, I doubt printing it will do much of anything. Then again, with this sort of shit, it kind of is worthwhile to do literally everything you think might help.

If anyone has any experience, it might be worthwhile to look for filetype headers in the pdf file. There was not a PNG header in there as far as np++ could tell.
>>
>>17479715
who? Alan?

Yeah. It seems the idea is for it to be printed, and shown off like an award. It's a long shot, but that could maybe be what we're suppose to do, or at least wants us to do.
>>
I'm starting to think that the boomy picture is it's own ending. Like the youwin.pdf is a legit reward that someone such as a kid would like. It's like how on the cartoonnetwork site there are games you can win which let you download wallpapers and shit. It would fit into the autism theory, but unfortunately doesn't further anything else ARG wise

Why is this so funny to me? Holy shit, I'm rolling.
>>
What about overlaying flipped and mirrored images of it onto the original?

somebody print for the thread PLEASE

Already printed. There's jack shit here that's worth looking at beyond the print preview in PDF form.

Same
As I suspected, there's a distinct lack of any easily recognized hidden data in the file itself. I think someone had mentioned earlier that doing something like that doesn't seem like their style at all.

I don't find think you'll be finding much in the PDF desu
>>
well I'm stumped
>>
>>17479759
It's possible we're running in circles at the moment.
Alantutorial was a long running project, we might have to wait this out for a little while.

Otherwise, the best bet is still probably something to do with that AB-Dos prompt and the database of things
>>
Excluding boomy for the time being, the leads we still have for sure are
>sculptorsclayground.com
>absurveillancesolutions.com site itself excluding login (products section etc.)
>tormadoes.weatherfront.net
These are things we know exist as part of the ARG, but haven't been fully understood. Let me know if there's anything else to add

That's what I mean. He's so fucking terrifying. The eyes, man. The fucking eyes.

>tormadoes.weatherfront.net

These two only redirect to the current GoogleDOC that's up and running right now.

I wonder what the significance of y88888p is.
>>
>>17479772
Maybe they are using our googledoc as part of it now? To be fair, we have become Absurveillance solutions, haven't we.
>>
>>17479766
The only interesing thing on absurveillancesolutions.com at this point is the solution part i guess. Maybe it has changed?
>>
>>17479775
No clue, the domain is definitely registered to Tuner Broadcasting.

Going to see if there are any parts to this URL
>>

desu I can just see it as the most convienent ascii characters. 8 being used for everything, Y rounding out left slopes, P rounding out right slopes, b and d to make the curves on the u, " to indicate spaces in the exclamation marks etc.

>>17479778
Nope. Odd how we can't actually go back to it and "get a solution" while logged in WITH the 00437 account, but it specifies that the feature is account exclusive.

>>

Protect is on a list of keywords in case we need a pw, but otherwise don't know if we can get any sort of lead from it.

Regarding passwords/usernames, we've gotten everyone we have from things written on the sides of things, and there's multiple things we have found written that have not been usable as passwords yet, including "pimp" and "Run 4 office"
>>
>>17479832
I'm using the default ftp client on Linux, there is no login page per se.

That's pretty interesting that the IP itself doesn't lead you to the redirect.

I just realized its on the same block that ufoab takes place. Fuck. You can see the box numbers when donna is running after herself.

I have a copy from yesterday that we can compare
>>
>>17479845
Well so far, all of our progress has been found through pre-intended sources. Websites and passwords were both found in videos either written down somewhere or spoken by someone (the clayground vid). It would be highly unusual for the ARG to suddenly move to brute forcing a login
>>
>>17479849
please compare this to see if it's been changed please.

I compared it to my copy and I can confirm that it is different.

HAVE A NICE SLEEP

>>
>>17479861
That was my first attempt.
I'm not going to start legitimately bruteforcing the service for legal reasons;

I doubt it has anything to do with this game at this point;
If something interesting comes up, I'll look back into it.

Otherwise, anyone with a VPN who might want to try and bruteforce it, the IP is up there
>>
>>17479743
he just mirrored the image and overlayed it, basically trapping anyone who hasn't been here for a while.
>>
>>17479864
Sorry, just throwing out ideas. Really excited about this, just dunno what I can do to help.
>>
>>17479867
Oh, no problem dude
Sorry, that post sounded wholly negative but I wasn't trying to be a cock;

I'd love to throw a bruteforce program at it but I don't want to risk legal trouble, and I'd probably get into it if this wasn't anything to do with the game.

Out of luck again~

In an interview with the creator, he did mention that one element of it all is suppose to be humour. He even mentioned that some things he thought was funny might not be as such for others.

>>17479658

someone just message alan on twitter and ask him if the rabbit hole goes deeper.

remember we still have a video thats access denied on the absol site. as well as many key words leftover. i dont think this is over but i may be wrong.
the daughter posted that she hopes they pick the show up for a full season so some of this may just be lose ends that play into shit that hasnt even been created yet. we may be hindering them by presing too hard into stuff that is still under construction.
even on the weather linked profiles they say forwardly that they are under construction so im assuming that we werent supposed to go there.
>>
site went to this after awhile >>17479921

Damn right man. Alan freaking loves the uncanny valley. All of his adult swim projects toy with the concept one way or the other.
>>
>>17479925
Yeah
Whoever is in charge of the ARG part of this must've jumped the gun a bit. It'd be upsetting to know this whole thing is incomplete / dead ends
>>
>>17479925
that would only show people that they can be pushed into saying something. im sure AS provides them with support on these matters

Whatever we're missing has to be in the google doc.

>these audio conversations where they start screaming out of nowhere
They sound like they suddenly turned into monkeys, I don't know why but I think that's more funny than terrifying.
>>
>>17479932
I read that the woman who set up this ARG loves this sort of thing and loves creating this deep worlds that go on forever, so I don't think that is happening. There's too many things we still have to figure out, like the "QUOTE QUOTE QUOTE" and "IM FALLING" puzzle
>>
>>17479932
>>17479925
Seriously this. The kicker right now is that they haven't told us and the fact that Alan is being a cheeky cunt on twitter which still gives the chance that the ARG actually is complete and we haven't pushed hard enough
>>
>>17479946
I feel like if we were done, someone would let us know, in some way. At the very least, they would stop egging us on.
>>
we need a new googledoc that we can add more info to. like the house number and the fact that its on the same street that ufoab takes place.

Oi, did I find sth? Did I fuck up?

Guys, I think Boomy is real. Not in the ARG. But in real life. I think I saw him in the yard. But he's too fast to know for sure.
