Hey /x/ im thinking about joining the Freemasons should i be worried? also can anyone tell me someone tell me about their "secrets"?
>>
>>17465406
The only Freemason "secret" I know is is that there is no secret.

But obviously and organization that opposed the fairies would only ever tell a fairy that there was no secret, so I tend not to believe in their lies.
>>
You're a cunt OP. kill yourself
>>
>>17465406
Nothing supernatural about them to spook you and unless you are a billionaire you won't know the secrets

Just join the O.T.O
>>
>>17465406
>their "secrets"
The secret is how to control people by making them think that you have some great secret.

Their "religion" is secular humanism thinly veiled, and they are actively working towards the abolition of all religion (save their own), the abolition of all nation states, and a socialist world government.
>>
>>17465434
>Their "religion" is secular humanism thinly veiled
Thank you! Couldn't have said it better myself.
>>
>>17465437
You could have, if you'd gone for the truth instead.
>>
>>17465406
>should i be worried?
No? Why would you join if you were worried? You should have been given all the info you need to make an informed decision.
>also can anyone tell me someone tell me about their "secrets"?
They're just the pass grips, words, and salutes. Teaching tools like everything else in the Craft. Commonly known, but the point is that it's a test of character and learning point for you not to divulge them.
>>
>>17465458
Truth is in short supply when one carries the voice of the Fae.
>>
>>17465467
Hah, so it seems.
>>
>>17465479
Thank you. <3
>>
>>17465490
I think he's insulting you, dude.
>>
>>17465501
It would seem the insult didn't take then, did it?

I have a close family member who is a past grand master or whatever who did quite a few years in the US working with the united nations, im not sure what he did but I do know that bastard was pulling in some fairly decent income during that time, now just sits back being baller while half my family call him goat rider grand poobah and the other spend their time doing secret handshakes and I assume riding goats
>>
>>17465522
Unsurprising that a LARPer wouldn't have a sense of shame or sense.
>>
>>17465536
You literally can't have either of those things if you want to LARP. It's kind of implied by the LA part.
>>
>>17465561
Well props to your conviction.

>>17465534
Shame they'd mock him for something which must have been so important to him.
>>
>>17465568
How rude! I'll have you know I've never been convicted of anything in my life.
>>
>>17465406
if you want to be part of something and don't mind working

I think it would be a good fit
>>
>>17465406

OP there secret is that there is no secret. Only salivating idiots come to Masonry actually expecting to learn something but instead are fed allegory and shit. Masonry is a sham and has been one.

Ex Mason here. Well I wouldn't call myself one. I just did the Initiation and quit. It didn't feel right to me. I felt guilty for it for some reason.

Op, It wasn't bad. It's just maybe because it lasted for quite some time and was a tad overwhelming. I may have jumped the gun on it.

When you get interviewed, do not be afraid to asked questions.

You will be greatly disappointed if you are just wanting to know the secrets.
>>
>>17465406
You sit on a fucking couch with a lot of rich people and do nothing for two hous.

The simpsons nayled it
>>

Pick one, dude. Or if you did actually read it, and ended up with that conclusion, you must have a poor grasp of English, because he does no such thing.
>"He was totally quite irrelevant in Masonry in general"
Wouldn't say totally. But i don't get why morons like yourself latch on to him with such determination.

>>17465790
>It didn't feel right to me. I felt guilty for it for some reason.
You've piqued my interest. What did you put on the exit survey?

What is this?
>>
>>17465406
My father is a free-mason and it doesn't actually seem to be anything special.

He just pays his dues, occasionally go to meetings, and there is this one weird bible in our house with the symbol on it.

I would join, but there is the requirement is that you beilive in some divine authority, and secular humanism actually doesn't count iirc.

I can post pics of the book if there's interest.
>>
>>17465810
I just demitted verbally with eh WM. He looked through his guide book and said that's all there was to it. Of course, it may be different in other states.
>>
>>17465853
Fair enough, but i was more curious about your reasons for leaving. Was the guilt from not knowing what you were joining, and not really being interested in it?
>>
>>17465859
I mainly said I had an unexplained negative feeling. It was pretty severe. It might be that I was uninterested, yet made the commitment. It felt like a big change(I don't like big change or commitment). All while I was about to start my new college degree.

Honestly, it might been fear of the unknown and overwhelmness.

I liked the idea of it more than actually doing it.
>>
>>17465894
Yea, i getcha bro. Cheers.
>>
>>17465406
you're gonna be disappointed
>>
>>17465406
You are retarded.
the real secrets of freemason's are not revealed until higher levels which take years to get to. Even then they just have you do evil black ritual bullshit
>TLDR if you want to get in on the secrets you will probably get raped or rape somebody
>If not rape something greasy after year of devotion to the organization
>>
>>17466046
Why is it always rape with you tinfoil Freudian nightmares?

Just took this today, have been inside the building before. They're not exactly hiding anything.

I know of several murders covered up by freemason police.
>>
>>17465406
They're secretive as fuck. My pastor was in the Freemasons for a while but he never talks about it, and my dad was a 32 degree mason. My dad never talks about it, when ever I bring it up he just clams up. I think it might just be one big gay orgy.

>inb4 YOU'RE DAD WASN'T A 32 DEGREE MASON@>!@
(He was though)
>>
>>17468792
It is mostly used as a front for pedophelia, like most elite circles.
>>
>>17468792
You should ask him why he doesn't talk about it.
32nds are a diamond dozen, after all. But so are 33rds in the USA.
>>
>>17468800
It is a front for pedophelia, he cant tell his son he fucked a kid or his pastor fucked a kid.
>>
All secret organizations or cults are elaborate ways of gaining power to manipulate and get away with the most taboo acts humanity is capable of. That is all they ever are, including the catholic church, it does not matter. It is all bullshit so people can do degenerate things and go on with life.
>>
My dad is a Freemason. All you have to worry about is getting beat up by the veterans if I miss out on a charit event.
>>
>>17468804
>>17468795
He left it abruptly after he became a 32 degree. I like to think he found out they were kid fuckers at that point then left. Is that just wishful thinking?
>>
>>17468768
A-anyone willing to go to the site? If you go tell me what it's like...
>>
>>17468927
More likely he was in the NMJ and realised how shit it is after watching video degrees.

>>17468931
It's just .pdfs of public domain books ripped from other sites. Why would you be scared of that?

>>
>>17465406

Find your local lodge and see what they are up to, I'm sure there is a dinner or something they can invite you to.

Let them know why you're interested in masonry. You can ask about Masonic secrets (there are lots) and see what they say. Probably won't be able to tell you much.

If your reason for joining is something along the lines of becoming a better man, than you'll be fine.
>>
>>17465840
plz do
>>
>>17466317
the lodge in my town isn't very attractive either.
You'd expect something called the Masons would have nice masonry.
>>
well, for starters, we are relatively nice people, we don't condone a NWO, and we are not a satanic cult
>>
>>17465406

You should be worried about getting buttfucked by rich old men. It's just a gay drinking club.
>>
>>17465413
If you see this if/when you come here, know that I love you!
>>
>>17472456
You're a bunch of brown nosing cocksuckers trying to rub elbows with who's who in town in an age where secret societies have been publicly mocked or open to women and destroyed for the past 60 years.
>>
>>17472144
It's a question of what's affordable. But yea, with one that size, you think they'd be able to make it less fugly. Even my sad looking wooden church-esque one has some nice touches.
>>
>>17465406

freemasons were a fucken union, the 'secret' stuff comes from their knowledge of what they build shit for and who they built shit for i doubt 99% of members actually know these secrets let alone believe them
>>
>>17465406
Freemasonry can be multiple things. I personally would include bodies like the Scottish, York/American, and Rectified Scottish Rites as inherently part of Freemasonry. With them, there are many individual truths that interplay with one another so if you're actually paying attention and reading into the implications of each degree's teachings, you'll learn an incredible amount, cumulatively. But there is no one secret; in fact, one of the allegories is that of the Lost Word (the ineffable name of God) which proves that there is no one magic indivisible secret that will always aid you, that can be known. It's important though that even though It isn't known, it's still imparted. It's said that Enoch laid It under ancient Jerusalem (Salem) and Melchizedek built a priesthood around It, who then taught It to Abraham. Some people call this Freemasonry, some Kabbalah, some Rosicrucianism .. But Freemasonry somewhat includes the latter two as references.

>>17465840
It's basically a regular bible with added annotations and pictures. Some of them are pretty schway.
>>
>>17474536
>Rectified Scottish Rite
Shh, mon frere.
>>
>>17468768
Its just codex speak. Like memorizing your presidents for history class. Funny thing is though, fellow masons are almost always introduced, and never actually have to idividually identify themselves outside of ceremony.

Tl;dr don't waste your time drooling over their clubhouse codes, they don't even use them
