Interesting spread. At the bottom of it, the nature, it seems that things will improve in one way or another. Getting through whatever problems, finding an equilibrium and strength and working it's way towards something far better, even if right now may just not be too perfect. It'll express itself in emotional stability, perhaps a bit too much so or even completely constricted emotions, which could lead to some issues bubbling up eventually. In the sense of the material, it'll be pretty stable, but I still think that the emotional part would be something to watch out for.
For some reason I had issues coming up as to why exactly it would be like this. The card for this particular matter would start for a start in regards of emotional, urging to perhaps repair or start anew, something along the lines of that. A fresh start, even. I am not exactly sure though.
Cruelty is a tricky card to interpret, and while it would usually mean either sorrow in some ways and in another way, realization of a cold, hard truth, I am not sure if it would be the latter for you. It is an advice card, and it has a strong meaning to realize something that's going on and not ignore it.
And in the end, the card of Virtue is a very easy way to say that it's going to keep changing or it will be directing itself in a particular way. If you or him wish to change it and either of you will do something, then it's highly likely that it'll roll that way and there's too little to stop it. Hard to say whether positive or negative though.
