Droves of people around my age(mid20s) are leaving because its impossible to believe with a critical eye. I have two friends that are still Mormon, and about 30% of my peers in high school remain Mormon, despite a 98% population of Mormons in my home town. The internet is killing mormonism, but there will always be dumbfucks that cling to it. It's a comforting belief system, even if its very authoritarian.
My estimate is of the 5 millionish active members they have now, they will only have about 3 million or so in the next 25-30 year period.
