I don't normally post here on /x/ but I looked in the catalog and didn't see any Meditation threads, kinda surprising honestly.
Anyways post anything you got about meditation or stuff, discuss, laugh and cry whatever man.
I read a meta-study on Reiki actually being effective. This excited me since I used to be really into it until I thought it was disproven. I was actually thinking of making a meditation general ha ha how the universe works.
Anyway I got some techniques that I myself have made for starters
There's a meditation I developed but haven't used much. Although it branches from a meditation I learned many years ago.
Basically I imagine myself in a white cocoon, or that a white light surrounds me. I allow a white, holy wind to flood the cocoon. Immersing myself in its oneness. Allowing the white light to purify me.
Focusing on it as the wind allows you to become more in tune with vibration.
Purify my mind, O Great Wind.
O Great Spirit, Purify my mind.

Have you done zazen? (Aka plain sitting meditation?) Try sitting up straight for 30+ min without having any distractions (let alone wandering thoughts). Master that then we can talk.

try going for an OBE / lucid dream if you haven't? or increase the amount of hours you tend to do for plain meditation?
