We all know what demon summoning is, but we don't quite understand it. Most of us don't believe it exists.
I personally do not believe in demons. But I'm open minded and I'm willing to hear opinions.

I have studied and practiced evocation for years. Speak for yourself OP. I understand every aspect of it, intricately, and am very capable. It exists, it is real, and there is much that can be accomplished by it. I also know the whole history behind the word demon and how it goes back to Socrate's daimon.
There are many different sorts of entities you can evoke including many that fall under all the various classifications of "demon" various people have. If you mean simply a hostile spiritual entity there's plenty of those and they can assume any form imaginable.
Can you just stop talking about this as if it were some great mystery nobody knows anything about? Go read Practice of Magical Evocation.
