I've been interested in the timothy treadwell tapes before grizzly man was produced.
I've always had the suspicion that he and Amie were never mauled by a bear, but were murdered then left to be eaten. Five bears were poached following his death, while none were poached during his 13 year stay on the site.
This audio claims to be 2 minutes of the 6 minute attack, but is suspected of being faked.

By whom? What about the fact that Werner Herzog listened to the death and that a close friend of Treadwell's still owns the tape? If it was a murder and not a grizzly attack it'd be obvious, and the tape would be proof. Why would a friend of Treadwell's hold this sort of evidence back? Everyone knew he was going to end up a bear victim, and there's a no-visuals tape that proves it. Not to mention he stayed longer than usual, and there were problems with the foodsource for the bears. Just because they didn't release the tape doesn't mean it wasn't what they said it was. In fact, in this case, it seems to be a good suggestion that they really were killed by a bear.
Ive heard the audio was true but it's been denied so it stays low key. If that was the plan than it totally worked

People had problems with the guy for years.
Anything can be recreated, especially just the audio of something, much like the link in OPs post.
Seems odd an experience 13 year film maker would forget to take the lensecap off of a video camera.

>suspected of being faked
fake or not. That audio is gonna gimme nightmares.
Interesting side note:
Disney had Tim come to the studio to give them lessons on how bears moved so they could be animated correctly. Interesting stuff.

He got a lot of flak for being a liberal animal nut, but he meant well at least.
I'm sure he tasted well too.
Who the fuck 'poaches' grizzly bears? And why?

Their fur is pretty valuable. Humans kill anything. Even other humans.

Lol that audio is so obviously fake, I can't believe people are getting scared by it. Sounds like a poor quality sound clip from TWD hahh
