You of course have a link to these.
I bet you're thinking of "Garfield minus Garfield" http://garfieldminusgarfield.net/
Some guy took Garfield OUT of Garfield comics and they suddenly get really insane. What was cool was the Artist was OK with this and finds the site funny and let's it be. Not everyone is that cool. There was a deranged "Family Circus" site that was great, but the ahole that draws that threatened lawsuits and shut the site down.
>>17009981
Don't let him discourage you. They're not laugh out loud funny but they're /x/ related and a bit interesting. They fit the threads needs.
>>17013587
Then post a link to them.
>>17013538
Not that guy, but he did a series of strips for Halloween(?) that some people found disturbing.
>>17013538
Those are fan made comics.
I'm talking about "Garfield: His 9 Lives". Here's an illustration from it.
If I can find them again, I'll post or link them, had them on my old computer but not this one.
>>17013610
Here's another
>>17013610
>Those are fan made comics.
No they are not, they just what it says, ordinary comics with Garfield removed. " Each strip consists of a reprint of a past episode from the comic strip Garfield, from which all the characters except Garfield's owner Jon Arbuckle have been removed through photo manipulation."
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Garfield_Minus_Garfield
=====
Hmm, "Garfield has Nine Lives" has nine stories about Garfield, most written by Davis, but eight of them illustrated by others.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Garfield:_His_9_Lives
>>17013643
I meant a fan removed them from the original strips. Don't split hairs jackass.
And I didn't know that about the 9 lives comics. Thank you for enlightening me. I was merely bringing it up.
>>17013648
>I meant a fan removed them from the original strips. Don't split hairs jackass.
Then learn how to write. For instance: "I meant a fan removed them from the original strips." barely means anything. A fan removed 'them'? WTF are you referring to? Your previous statement is: "Those are fan made comics." which is plain old not true -- and how that relates to 'a fan removed them' is very unclear.
When school starts up again next week, try paying better attention.
>>17013664
Yes a fan made them into comics that remove Garfield. Youre not getting a rise out of me by being a hair splitting jackass.
But I'm sure you were just trying to be informative. Not dickish at all. /sarcasm

This is the one that anon means, it's actually really unsettling. Davis always said that Halloween comics were his least favourite because they couldn't actually be scary, and he wanted to try and change that.
>>17013757
no field and crazy eye are great memes
>>17013888
Thanks anon, saved me the trouble and got it all into one image too.
I thought this was kind of strange when I was a kid because it was in a collection book and wasn't aware it was for Halloween. Looking at it again now, it's almost creepier when you realize the ending seems to imply that Garfield is still all alone in his abandoned house but his mind is in denial, so he's merely pretending to go about his normal routine while his friends are really just a hallucination.
>>17013888
Garfield.
Does anyone have any of those disturbing/surreal web comics?
>>17014103
You're gonna have to be more specific.
>>17014131
Kind of like supernatural body horror, dreamlike sequences of people being ripped apart, and just stuff that makes you feel uneasy. I've seen a few on here before but I can't ever remember who the artists are.

I was on this thread last night, Quoted the PLIF comics. Just said they were "cringe worthy" and I come back today and my opinion has been deleted.
Wtf mods, These PLIF comics are fucking shit.
Saw a good one a few days ago on /b/. Wasn't a comic but a drawing/painting/whatever.
It depicted a boy walking into a candy shop with the old clerk behind the counter. And just around the wall from the boy were about 4 or 5 dead boys. Some in jars and one dead body was right by his feet near the desk. And in his hand under the counter were pills to knock him out. The colors were vibrant and cheerful from the boy's perspective and dark and grim with the clerk.
Very profound.

Don't know about any Nietzsche site. But the original one was "Dysfunctional Family Circus" where users submitted captions. Now that the artist is dead & in light of a better understanding of the legal aspects the site is archived here:

Being pro-human isn't edgy.
Taking a pro-environment comic and editing your "sick comeback" into the script is what's edgy.
