I always found this album underrated in terms of spoopiness. Geogaddi is the obvious choice, but there's something unsettling about the acoustic sounds and samples on this one... like they're trying too hard to sounds cheerful and start sounding insane.
I saw this weird movie one time compiled of home footage of these kids playing at a summer camp. It turned out that the guy who made the film was obsessed with the camp and his childhood there - and ended up drowning there in a fatal accident when he was older. This kind of reminds me of that.

I thought this music video was pretty interesting too - one time when I was younger this strange man started following me in the subway. I never confronted him and he never confronted me, but he definitely followed me for a few stops and then got off at the same one as me. Never saw him after that.

Midnight Syndicate is my go to for spooky music while going online. too many to post, every song they make is spoopy. they are used by theme parks in their halloween events.
not to be an edgy retard but cradle of filth has a lot of instrumental songs that are creepy. like this one, this one actually bothers me a little because of how creepy it is.

While there is a place for this sort of music, I just wish bands like this would realise they don't HAVE TO use all their instruments for everything all the time.
How much spoopier these would be if you took out the heavy strumming "doom" guitars and had female choir and a piano? Or instead of piano, go with a violin or cello for a real morbid feel.
I'm not just dissing metal outright - I am a metal fan myself - but it's not always the best solution.
