Hunter X Hunter (2011) is good and >100 episodes long so it'll keep you occupied. It's battle shonen, but it's a seriously good one.

Definitely watch One Punch Man. Shingeki no Kyojin is also pretty reddit-tier so give that a try. You seem to like fun shows with adventure and action that you don't have to think too much about. If you're up for tackling a longer show try Hunter X Hunter. Shokugeki no Souma might also be worth a look, since it's very over-the-top and funny. In the vein of Watamote try Himouto Umaru-chan.

It will be another season if they release it after a break, but if they were to just forge on and keep making more episodes during the winter season (which they absolutely won't) then it would be considered another cour, since that would be lengthening the current season. 11-13 episode season = one cour, 22-26 episode season = two cour.

There is such a thing as split-cour show though. Generally 2-cour or split-cour refers to when the anime is produced continuously and aired over multiple seasons. The word season is usually used when the later set of episodes weren't initially planned to be done. In other words, second "cours" are announced from the get-go but second "seasons" are later approved for production.

But "cour" is just a stupid word for "thirteen episodes", so a bog-standard 25-episode series, aired week-after-week like every other program on TV ever did, is now "two-cour (unsplit)".
