Go for the internet stuff like Cyriak, Felix Colgrave and the bros at SleepyCabin.
The first three seasons of Spongebob are top tier.

This shit right here. It's called "Song of the sea" and it has beautiful children's storybook-like animation. It's by a Irish studio called Cartoon Saloon. The only other movie they've done is called "Secret of Kells." Both movies are fantastic, but avoid the trailers, they give too much of an idea of what will happen.
Another one is "Over the garden wall." It's a miniseries from cartoon network that combines americana folk tale setting with cute comedy and a darker overarching plot.

Yeah, for TV shows some top rankers include -
Gravity Falls (seriously check this out if you haven't, but give it 3 eps)
Seconding Venture Brothers
Futurama (original series at least)
Adventure Time
Archer
Rick and Morty
You'll probably be able to find most of these on youtube.
King of the hill, I'm not even memeing. It's honestly such a good show. It's the perfect blend of comedy, slice of life and political satire.
