lost about a million views a a month (2.8m to 1.8m) since dodger left, but from Dec 2015 to March 2015 before she left views were slowly a a near constant rate each month from just under 3.9m a month to 2.8. Polaris major network hub channel at it's peak was viewed about as much as Jesse's channel at 4 or 5 m a month, but now it gets views like Dodger's inconsistent and halfhearted pressheart channel (at 1.9m). 1.8m views a month is their second worst month ever since July 2015 at 1.4m (I don't remember what happened that month)
And Polaris has lost subs each month since January 2016. (down about 17k, almost 10k down the 2 month since Dodger left). The last 30 days shows a gain of 8k, so they must have bought some subs from a bot service to try and save face.

Dodger gained a lot of subscribers this last month (for her) even while neglecting her channel. Almost half of her sub gain (12.5k of 29k) in the last 20 days happened Sun June 12 to Web Jun 15, peaking on Tues June 14 (8.4k) even though during that time she uploaded ZERO videos other then the E3 steams Announcement hich was her only video between June 8 and June 17.
So Dodger gained a bunch subscribers for sitting in the background on other people's E3 streams, but her views didn't go up at all. So they were honorary subs, who subbed to support her, but understandably, don't wanna watch any of her garbage.

Why is this a "LOL" type situation? YouTube has hiccups with subscriber counts all the time, culls like this are pretty common. The opposite sometimes happens too when subs haven't been counted correctly.
Unless these YouTubers were crowing about all the subscribers they were inexplicably picking up for the past month, there's nothing particularly noteworthy in the fact that they've just had a cull.

Why do so many of these channels focus on "news" type programs? What market are they trying to appeal to? If someone is enough of a "gamer" to subscribe to a YouTube network hub channel of all things, chances are they're already keeping up with relevant gaming news at more direct/comprehensive sites?
What even is the point of the Polaris channel? They had the right idea a year or two ago when they were trying to promote a variety of collaborative videos amongst Polaris members ... the channel got some (timed) exclusive content from big names, they helped introduce the less famous personalities to established audiences ... and they videos were actually kinda interesting and fun.
Then they dropped that. And the focus went back to "news" type shows that were apparently only hopping along because of Dodger's face.
Oh well.
