Humans are actually funny creatures. Because when you think about it, we are no needed in natural life chain, when every creature coexist with others, and need to exist because it is food for other species or it intentionally help other alive(eg those wolf), Humans are more like parasite, that live without real(natural) reason and meaning.

But best part is that humans, even if are dominant species on Earth, are actually not that important.
We think we understand everything, we think we are responsible for everything and everyone, but in overall timescale humans are not important.
For example this is timeline of Earth when live creatures exist:
___________________________.
That small dot at the end is time between now and first humans showing up, about 2,5millions years ago(when homininae show up)

and when you cut from that small dot 15% you would have times when humans started to use natural resources in bigger scale.
And in this time we think that WE are responsible for every temperature drop, weird winter, magnetic fields distortions, everything.
Its nothing more than bullshit, we just pretend that we know everything, and we think that we could do such thing is such small time scale. We could nuke every major city, we could wipeout most of species, and Earth would fix it/create new life it in a matter of few thousands years. But Humans like to think that EVERYTHING need to be created/destroyed now, in less than few years.
Thats bullshit, in terms of life and death we need to use scale of hundreds/thousands years not months.
Even when you compare those generic data of Earth life that we gather, you would know that such CO2, temp differences, weird summers, it was here back then, many times, and now its just show up again, and its gonna show up AGAIN after next few thousands of years.

Probably not, but it's definitely cheaper not to. The logistics in moving 80 people including actors and film crew, and all their equipment to a specific location somewhere else on the globe must be staggering.

This way everyone is home in time for dinner and less people need to be hired
>>

Don't forget the potential for having to block streets off to the public and the disruption that causes, as well as potential damage from practical effects (the few that still occur).

Does anyone know why they usually ignite the top of oil drill thingies? Even if it's not common practice, it still warrants a little explanation. Rather than "We are burning all of this fuel, just because it keeps coming out"
>>
>>1158401
Not everything they pump up can be used for refinement, depending on their purpose. An oil rig will inevitably also get some natural gas, but not enough to exploit economically. it need's to go somewhere. A gas rig will have to get rid of inevitable denser parts, burning them in a small gas fire.

If they wouldn't burn it on an instance, it would linger around and probably ignite uncontrolled. Which is... quite bad.

At least that's what I learned in school, don't know if that's true for all.

Looks like some sort of wire they grounded on one side of the power lines and then passed over the top to the other side. When they descended the wire it touched two power lines together which causes them to conduct, the amount of current instantly burns through the wire. The potential between the power lines is really big so once some of the current started flowing it was enough to ionize the air around it causing it to conduct, that's the pretty electrical arc.

So glad curry lost. Gotta keep that 72-10 dream alive.

So many bandwagoners would have thought curry was goat if he won it all and had that great regular season (which was rigged by refs allowing illegal screens for him)

Are you sure you want to bring preferential refs into the talk?
Are you sure that's a wise move?
I haven't fogotten last years reffing, or this years in the finals, when lebron goes towards to, and then elbows, curry but curry gets taken out the whole fucking game in one of the last games in the finals?
Yeah that was absolutely grade A impartial ref work, completely not working to extend or manipulate the games to make the most money for the nba, nope, totally not. Yep, curry is the bad guy, not bitch-baby momma's boy Lebron, or the nba officials, nope.
>>
>>1161170
And you're going to ignore the fact that draymond should have been suspended thrice over but the league wanted the warriors vs cavs?

Lol it cuts both ways. The good guys won this series.
>>
>>1145963
sauce?
>>
>>1161174
>The good guys won this series.
You're retarded if you think lebron is ever the good guy after first leaving cleveland

You're even more retarded if you think that superstars don't get preferential treatment with lebron being the #1 poster boy. Mike also got heavy hand treatment by the refs

There was no good guy in this series, would have preferred seeing history remade.
