I came into these Medal of Honor videos a bit skeptical, and left feeling so positive and reassured. Of the dozen or so testimonials I watched (from Vietnam and Korea back to WW2), all were humble and felt like they were just doing their duty, and wore it for their fallen men and/or out of a sense of proudness it had given their families.

Actually goes to show how pointless most wars are. Soldiers, especially conscripted soldiers, tend to have a very live and let live attitude toward the enemy. Look at all of the times in like the Vietnam conflict, there'd be a sniper who'd purposefully shoot into a camp at no one, that the soldiers in that camp would then do nothing about (or, in keeping up with appearances, take a few random shots at areas the sniper definitely isn't).
When you're talking about trying to make a bunch of people fight in a place that they don't really want to over something that doesn't affect them, you're going to get shit like this.
