Can someone help me out with mpd and ncmpcpp? I have no idea why this isn't working and looking at forums and googling hasn't helped at all.
>>
>>6597889
It cleary shows an unknown line, delete it and press u to update playlist, this is what happens when you lie about using gentoo
>>
>>6597906
Watch the webm again, after stopping that line from running with the pound symbol '#', and restarted mpd and ncmpcpp, and then press u, nothing happens. But it appears to work when I add them manually after randomly pressing keys on the keyboard.
>>
>>6597909
Did you press 2 on your keyboard?
>>
>>6597914
For some reason it says Browse: /

Instead of Browse /media/kevin/Secondary\ Drive/Music

Also, after getting songs to work by clicking and dragging in terminal, I restarted ncmpcpp, and the songs are no longer there and I can't figure out how to click and drag back in (I don't want to manually do it every time I want to listen to music).

what firefox css is that?
>>
>>6600286
It's a slightly modified version of Moko's with an add-on called tree style tabs. Here it is if you want it. http://pastebin.com/q14QiyTm
>>
>>6600277
Why is your taskbar so fat? Removes any advantage of having a 1440p screen.
>>
>>6600317
It's that wide so I can read longer tasks. The screen shot is not a good example but I normally have a lot of tasks open, you can fit more tasks in to a vertical taskbar than a horizontal one at least when in "never combine" mode on windows 10, It's the same reason I use tree style tabs on FF. I don't need extra screen real estate for programs because I have other monitors.
>>
>>6600277
The drop shadows and Firefox font look bad, also why are post images so damn small in 4chan?
>>
>>6600319
The post images are thumbnails that haven't been expanded yet. The font in firefox is the same as everywhere else, do you mean you don't like the use of a monospaced font in a browser? I quite like un-anti-aliased monospaced fonts but I understand why a lot of people would not. The drop shadows were a compromise between bordered windows and borderless, but it might need some tweaking.

I just started using windows after getting a new monitor to test some games and figured you lads would know best

Does windows have issues setting high resolution wallpapers? I'm noticing a huge amount of what looks like jpg artifacts around images that are perfectly fine when viewed in an imageviewer or set in Linux as my wallpaper. Does it compress it or something? I know the wallpaper is layered through DWM which displays through directX so that would probably be it if I had to guess
>>
>>6604103
yes
>>
>>6604109
shit

is there a fix
>>
>>6604113
Probably Ultramon.
>>
>>6604103
That's only if you use a JPEG as a wallpaper, Windows automatically compresses it to 85% quality. WinAero Tweaker has an option to revert this.
>>
>>6604103
Right click image -> set as desktop background might work
Don't do it through personalization

7/8.1/10 all copy and compress the background image as a jpg

For my desktop I love having a random background. One pulled from folders of my choosing every 15 minutes or so (or 4 seconds for my screensaver). I'm on windows 10 and through the legacy personalization settings I can kind of do what I want, but their random selection is awful. I think it's only looking at the first 2 thousand or something (and it hates subfolders).

Does anyone know of a good background switcher / desktop slideshow type program that does some of what I want?

I'm also curious about motion or live backgrounds if anyone knows a good resource. Those are either video or interactive, like a wake following the cursor and whatnot.

There are still some issues with using bbzero on Windows 10 (When it's installed as shell). Not quite sure why though but you may need to run it on top of explorer (A shame though).

It's okay if you use bbzero, I won't judge. I'm more concerned about the fact that you thought playing minecraft was less embarrassing.
