I like this wallpaper, but the sky is a little too dull and the bottom purple is a little too purple. I like the different shades and layers though, just thought I'd try my luck here. For learning's sake, what exactly did you do? Did you match the base color of the background then extend it and use a grunge brush on it to try matching the background of the original or did you clone brush/smart fill it really well? Or a combo of those?
