Replace room that goes into bathroom with laundry room-area from outside, extend kitchen/bathroom with extra space created (the door to the bathroom would now move directly from the bedroom with said extra space). Replace once-outside Laundry room with more porch. Move couch toward TV/toward kitchen and place an additional wall to make the bedroom an actual private space.

Don't sweep, power wash when absolutely needed.
Metal frames > wood frames, you can have your kids clean that shit.
For all of those cushions you have said kids once again bring them inside and then back out when you think a storm might occur.
