Please edit this wallpaper to remove the watermark in the upper right corner (advertising for the Outnow.ch website). That watermark isn't even their property and doesn't belong there, yet I couldn't find an image with this large of a resolution that did not have their watermark. Also, please edit the text that says 'It is our holy duty to guard against the foreign hordes' to say 'It is our holy duty to guard the Constitution'. That would make this wallpaper perfect, I believe.

The quickest way is:
>Photoshop
>make a selection of what you want removed
>Edit
>Fill
>in "Contents" choose "Content-Aware" and hit Ok
Note: This "Content-Aware" function only works with a small portion of images, and in the case it doesn't work you need to fix it manually with some particular technique

it's not that it only works with small portions, but more that it works better when there is less detail involved. It has a tendency to give worse results the more detailed an image is.
I find the patch tool is usually better than the clone stamp to fix mistakes.

Not him, but you should have said that you wanted a minimalistic vector of it.
It's a little bit of work and I never attempted to do that with a 2D image before (I suppose it's easier than vectorizing a 3D image), but I always wanted to do that with anime and other 2D images.
If in 24 hours no one picks up your request, I will do it. I'm interested in doing this kind of work, but I dont have the time to do it today anymore.

I'm the anon who posted here requesting an edit of this image, a mural from Bioshock Infinite. Thanks again to >>6456640 for fulfilling that request. In the course of my search though, I found this variant, which I think is much better than the 'foreign hordes' variant (because the awkward scroll and text is not covering up the American flag beneath it). This is apparently the version of the mural that appears in the Fraternal Order of the Raven. I have only found it in one resolution, 1296 x 878. I am wondering if anyone could turn it into a 1920 x 1080 resolution wallpaper without degrading the quality. Or if you know where to find a higher resolution (or perhaps you have Infinite and could search the asset files), I would be ever thankful.

There is no miraculous upsampling, but I tried to upscale it in a way that wont make it look all pixelated.
And IIRC this image in-game has even lower resolution.

Alright, so I was able to work on this early than I thought, and holy shit I had no idea in what I was getting myself into.
Drawing the paths was easy enough, but the layering (especially in this image) is a fucking annoying hell. At least now I know the easiest way to do certain things in 2D vectoring.
Anyway, here it is, if you wanna make a wallpaper with a solid color, just ask and someone else will probably do it pretty quickly.

yes, photoshop has better algorithms for resizing, however that isn't what causes it to look like shit when you scale it up/down/whatever. that is windows being fucky and compressing all images into jpegs.
changing the size has literally nothing to do with it. i don't care enough to see if phones also do this, but i wouldn't be surprised.
