Is there an app I can use to change the fonts under my icons? I use icon-changer because it let's me upload a transparent picture for the icon and I can have custom text (hopes/dreams) just not custom font.

The thing about Windows 10 has to do with its design choices compared to Windows 7 and even 8. Notably, Microsoft decided that flat was the way to go, and removed many of the graphics that divided a window into sections (e.g. the folder pane from the files in explorer). Without these divisions, things just float around and look jumbled, and all for the sake of the flat theme. If you added a line or two to separate the icon sections, it could look more cohesive.

I was more referring to the text and clock you put on top of the wallpaper. KLWP has functionality for adding custom elements to a wallpaper, and it's generally what people use for the webm homescreens. In your case, you could add text and sidebars, pretty much anything you've seen in the thread can be done with it. On top of that, you can use your own fonts. This is the most important part, since you won't just be limited to the stock icon font. You could add custom bitmaps to the wallpaper, perhaps faux signage pointing to hopes and/or dreams. You can also make the clock look like one you'd see at the station, and integrate it to the wallpaper. There's endless possibilities.

Alright guys, I need some help with my screen. I'm using the Materialistik icon pack and I'd like to get that yellow theme on my icons to contrast my background. The problem is that some of them don't have a yellow alt in the pack as you can see.

Move the song title and artist so it isn't touching the border. The rectangle on your next and previous buttons is way to thick compared to the borders of your boxes and it doesn't look good. The icons in between the boxes also seem out of place.

If you're using free versions its a no brainer, Apex every time because free Nova offers so little.
If you're planning on buying or stealing one Id recommend trying out both (free) versions first and seeing which one you like more and what options the paid version offer.
Personal opinion: I'm using Apex pro at the moment and the only drawback I see is the small selection between screen scroll animations. Other than that its perfect. Super easy and very customizable.
I have not yet used nova so I suggest you try them both out and see for yourself.

I went into KWLP and made my cover art have an animation.
Set ReactOn to Formula then the formula is:

It's action is set to Fade In so when the song is playing, it will fade in and when the song is not playing, it will fade out.

Personally I think the easiest way to learn is to download some pre made themes, and then open them up in klwp and mess around with the settings. That's the fastest way to learn how things work.
After that you can look up tutorials for more advanced editing.
