Decrease spread and increase blur.
And make sure to use black as a base with some low alpha value, it'll help make shadows still dark but not overwhelmingly so.

it's a whole lot of anime, so it'd take a long time to get all the images, convert them to .ico, and change them manually.
I also thought I'd seen a program that would do it all for you before, but I might be mistaken.
So I have only ever riced my phone, but thought it would be pretty easy on pc. Using deshou VS from the guide and somehow managed to fuck up my shell32.dll when replacing icons. [spoiler]Although I did learn how to use command prompt[/spoiler]

It looks fine, that's how Visual Styles look, you can rice backgrounds in Control Panel and stuff but you'd have to change the registry and it's not worth it for just the Control panel tbh.
Also update your Firefox and use a newer CSS, downgrading to use old CSS is incredibly pointless.

It depends on what you need Cygwin for. Are you trying to port an X application over to Windows? Sure, you could use Cygwin. But as you've said, if all you're going to do is use it for useless screenfetches and color scripts, it's not worth it. Well, I went to Windows & Captions Buttons/Aero/DWM Window/Frames/Window/(Left, Right, Bottom), there was a white picture (30 x 15px) and then I imported a blank pic, but unfortunately it didn't work

-Easiest one would be tint2 as it has graphical self explanatory configuration do this first
-Then move to WM(openbox) theme (/usr/themes/openbox-3/<theme_name>/themerc or ~/.themes/openbox-3/<theme_name>/themerc) you can easily edit theme using OBtheme and set the theme with OBconf both are openbox's GUI configuration tools
-In case you want to get rid of windows decoration (titlebar etc) add this to your rx.xml (~/.config/openbox/rc.xml)
