Time for a Douk thread. I just noticed how Duke Nukem 3D: Megaton Edition had been removed from steam due the publisher having their contract run out. What a shame.
At least now I have Duke 1, 2, 3D(classic), Megaton, and Manhattan Project on my account.

Megaton will be back on Steam with due time.
It's just that the rights got switched from 3DRealms/Interceptor to fucking Gearbox.
Interceptor lost everything Duke related in the last trial, got screwed over.
Gearbox will put it back there. These things will just take a little time.

One of my fav user-made map is Insurance Overload. Not many mappers actually try to make maps that are like the original game, in terms of layout and gameplay, but this one is, and it is perfect. It could fit right into the Duke it Out in DC add-on, check it out.

This mod was pretty good. Never finished the last level though, shit got pretty crazy.

The rooftop map? Well, there are weapons in every corner, so just quickly go round the whole thing at the start to pack up. Also there is a hidden atomic health at the start which may help a little although it is on damaging ground.
Also the secret map leads to the rooftop map, and at the end of it lies an atomic health as well. So if you start off the secret map you'll have 150hp, weapons get reset but iirc not health.

Fucking hate stuff like this. Whenever something like Day of the Tentacle or Star Wars Rogue Squadron gets rereleased on Steam, I'm anxious to buy it soon because there's always the nagging chance that licensing issues will result in its removal in a year or two.
Really glad I got Megaton Edition on release. I might play through it again right now.
