Hey /vr/ which one of these retro handhelds do you think is better? Personally I believe that the gamegear has color and a back light screen but it doesnt work as an portable video game system because it has low battery life. The gameboy on the other hand has very good battery life but some of its games are lackluster... DEBATE!

Owned both back in the day, got the GG first because colors and because of the TV adapter (which I never ended up getting in the end).

I enjoyed both, playing GG in 1994 was really awesome, but GB ended up having the best and bigger catalogue in the end, and the monochrome screen wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be, but when I was a kid I was turned off by that at first.

the screen is the reason I never got a GB. When I first saw the GBC in action I was completely hooked, instantly. This is the GB I've imagined since I've seen a GB for the first time. Still my favorite system today
