It was hard, yes, and I remember not liking it because there was a lot of cheap hits. It was a combination of the screen being too zoomed in and having to be very precise with how you whip enemies. I remember some harpies fucking me up pretty bad, and other things that just approach at a weird angle where you can't hit them properly without taking some hits a lot of the time. I played it like 6 years ago so I don't remember specifics but I didn't like it, I remember that. I played Risky's Revenge and it's a lot better and doesn't feel cheap.
