Also "holiday 2016" means december release date and if they're pulling what I think they're pulling (a modernized version of gen 2 as XY was a modernized version of gen 1), there is probably so few new content that we won't see anything before the E3.

It's not the lack of informations the problem. The problem is that, as usual, TPCI doesn't seem to understand how the fandom of their own games work. Pokemon fandom is used to a more constant flow of news than other franchise (I mean just look at Zelda U, it was announced 2 years ago and we've literally seen NOTHING), so even if they're not ready to show us something concrete yet, make it a silhouette. The box arts with silhouettes would have been more than enough to keep the conversation going and the momentum steady. I mean that's easy marketing are they really that dense?

The difference is, this is the first time that the game announcement hasn't come with or been preceded by any real info. Gen I notwithstanding, all of these either had Pokemon that were revealed months or even YEARS in advance of a game announcement, or had an initial announcement that included new Pokemon.
