I typed up a really long post about teammates with good synergy before realizing that it's Gen VI pokemon exclusively. Nothing wrong with that but like I said, it pairs very well with Tyranitar. As well as Sand Rush Excadrill to benefit from Tyranitar's Sand and Mega Zard Y to beef up Gourgeist's Syntheses as well as just generally being a great Mega, and a needed special attacker.
The team you have now is actually fairly good as far as synergy between teammates goes, but some of the items and movesets are a little strange. For one thing Gourgeist would much rather use Shadow Sneak or Seed Bomb instead of Sludge Wave, because it has a much higher Attack stat than Special Attack. Also really good for sniping physically frail, Ghost-weak Megas like Gardevoir and Medicham with Sneak. Seed Bomb allows you to check Rain sweepers like M-Swampert and Kabutops, as well as all the other stally 4x Grass-weak pokemon. Anything is better than Sludge Wave really.

I dropped sludge wave for seed bomb and moved leftovers to gesit. Thanks for the help. I will probably run gesit in other teams from now on. Are you pairing geist and zard in doubles or is that for singles?
