Just fuckin watch Ranma 1/2 or maybe some 70 & 80's anime like Plawres 3-shiro, Mazinger Z or City Hunter. Misty is literally no diferent from the main girls from those anime regarding tsundereness.
I watched anime since mid 90s when i was 4yo and have the fuckin right to say Misty is a fuckin tsun because i know every fuckin anime cliche. Pokemon is very known for the abuse of stereotypes and overused cliches. The loser protagonist with a Don-Quixote-ish-level-of-impossible dream (OS Ash is just like Nobita), the tsun and emotionally frustrated main girl, the watered down perv master, the doronbo-type villains, the smuggish rival, etc. Those things are way worse when you realize Shudo was headwriting the series and was more than willing to make the MC miserable because he wanted to project his failure at life into his creation.
So don't try to call us underage anons. Some of us are old enough and watched a good quantity of anime. In my case, Pokémon isn't ever my 1st anime. I started with Time Bokan (La maquina del tiempo), Mazinger Z, Gatchaman and Grand Prix.

Oddly enough the writers made so many Contests a saga that it didn't matter you only need 5 ribbons:
- AG had 15 Contests and two Grand Festivals
- DP had 11 Contests and one Grand Festival
They made more Contests than Gyms in each saga, although to be fair if you add the 7 Frontier Brain battles to 8 Gyms then it becomes mostly even.

Well the Dub IS shit, but not for the mere fact that it's a dub. But it's mostly because the voice actors all suck noodles. This is probably the one time in history where 4kids losing dubbing rights was a negative.

I always figured Dawn was the most traditional Asian looking heroine, hence her popularity in Japan. She has long straight dark hair, she has smaller breasts and a thing frame like most Asian girls, and her short skirt gives her a Japanese schoolgirl look.
May on the other hand was a brunette with tomboyish style clothing and huge breasts, given her a more western look. May looked like a white girl traveling throughout Japan. Serena of course is French with the blonde hair and blue eyes, and being a Kalos native.
Dawn is the most Asian looking of all the girls. May and Serena feels white and Serena European, hence their larger breasts.
