All Pokemon with a few exceptions (purely swimming Pokemon can't be found on land) have at least a 0.0001% chance to be found in the wild. Fully evolved, anything. You name it. Besides maybe Box Legendaries or something. There will be a Pokemon field count going down residually e.g.
Pidgey: 50%
Shroomish: 25%
Growlithe: 12.5%
..........................
Tyranitar: 0.0125%
etc.
Thoughts?
Maybe no starters, Legendaries (except for the hidden event mon of the region, or the scripted 1-3 roaming legends) or Babies, but everything else goes!

It should be the same encounter rate as shinies, but Mew's transformed as a regular pokemon in the route so the only way you could tell is if you caught it.

I would fucking cream. For example, if shit like this could only happen at night, making it dangerous to venture into grass, but rarer Pokemon appear (then just make day/night like 10 minute cycles or something).

I think it seems reasonable actually OP. Over a hundred times rarer than encountering a shiny. I feel like all the autism in the world couldn't have the patience to actively hunt for a wild Shiny Mew.

I actually thought of something similar recently. It'd be pretty neat if Carbink had a ludicrously low chance of evolving into Diancie, or if in a place where you can find Carbink, there was an incredibly low chance of finding a Diancie.

Even if it would probably break the game, It would be a cool gimmick if you could change wild pokemon populations by catching a lot of one species, or releasing a lot of one species into the wild. You could even restrict the mechanic to a post-game area. A "make your own safari zone" type thing.
