Poison cause the color purple is my favorite color. Steel cause it's the best type. When they finally make a Poison/Steel type it will probably be my favorite Pokemon, unless it sucks total ass

That said, there are obviously good and bad Pokemon of every type, and in fact my favorite Pokemon is a fairy type (Whimsicott)
Flying, because 1) birbs are cool, 2) Fly is really useful. I also always feel a need to have a water type in my team, it just feels right. Plus Surf.
Another ones I like are bug and dragon, but that's just because many of my favorites have those types.

(A) Actual animals and plants which are larger and stronger than they normally would be.
(B) Chemical abominations
Bug and Grass types are my second favorite types because most of their pokemon fit into archetype A.
