I wish it was, but it's just got so many problems. We know from its trailer that it's going to be speed-oriented, and there's no way something that thing could have Dragonite or Lugia's bulk. Not to mention that while Lugia may have five weaknesses, Lunala's two weaknesses are both double weaknesses and Dark-type moves such as Foul Play, Sucker Punch and Knock Off are near-omnipresent in competitive teams. If it had a wicked defensive typing like Ghost/Fairy, then it might be able to put Shadow Shield to use.

You find it in every cave, every wall, every fucking route, in every god damn region.

It's animations/sprites are fucking terrible, and it's cry makes me want to rip my head apart.
To top it off it has sturdy, so you need to scape from it if you find it, o else it annoys you with a shit moveset.

A lot of Pokemon designs aren't perfect, but I really feel like this one bypassed a certain quality standard to make it into the game. Which is a shame because it's pre-evo is kinda cute.
