I had a frozen Magikarp with two coins above it, and nothing else to the sides of it that could combo it at all. I literally had three whole rows, one of which was filled with Magikarps. There was nothing I could do, and rather than spend all the hearts needed to find it again I just went for the jewel. Even with the jewel I only won with two moves left and the only reason I did win was because Fug erased the frozen Magikarp.

Fug helped me a bunch during this Safari thankfully, it's why I didn't use Gengar. He really helped on Shellder and Cloyster usually getting me a Mega in a turn or two and then nonstop combos right after. Same deal with the Unfezant stage.

Magnemite is trash, if you mean Magnezone, it's got Po4+ but Virizion can stand in for it if it's a water type. If it's flying, zekrom kyu-w and T-tar are all base 80, but po4+ is still pretty powerful so it's still sometimes worth using.
Roserade has stabilize+ if I remember correctly, which I haven't used much, but some people swear by.

While it shouldn't be prioritized over something like Sleep Charm, Stabilize+ is much better thanks to Skill Boosters (60%/90%/100% at Lv4 for only 40 Skill Points) and will be very helpful for stages where the disruption counters are too small for Shaymin and Bellossom.
Plus, considering how bullshit the Roserade stage is, you'll want to catch it whenever you go for your S-rank attempt anyway.

Pokemon Picross is by far the worst offender, Shuffle doesn't even compare as the only thing you have to do is check in every two and a half hours to play Meowth and that's pretty much it to match paid players.
For Picross it costs $30 or $40 if you buy the "full" game but has about the same content as one of the "e" versions on the eShop for $5. As a F2P the most you'll get is about 6 areas in before you have to start playing daily for the daily Picrites and it takes around a year of daily playing without missing a single one if you don't do the training exploit while also choosing the most optimal paths and unlocks. You're also given the middle finger for some of the Picrites Pokemon themselves give because half the time you only get the Pokemon, ability, or extra slot unlock way later. I've got like ten or more Pokemon I can't finish for all the Picrites simply because Slash Reveal isn't even unlocked until like area 14 or something and I'm only on 11 or 12, and a bunch of them require 1 minute clears but you can't take Freeze Time or Slow Time Pokemon with you and they're ones without super easy and obvious tells like 6-8 slots.

When the clock turns over to unlock the daily training you have 10 minutes to do the training, go to system settings, and turn it back to right before the training which lets you keep the Picrites but also redo the training. Or something like that, I know it involves turning the time back around the time the clock turns over.

Fug, Gengar, and Ampharos are certainly better Megas than Glalie. You should just need a M+5 for the former 2 and potentially a Mega Start for the latter. If you take Fug, bring Ampharos for Dancing Dragons
